Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist is located in the Palisades District. It is situated in a richly diverse multi-ethnic community and the congregation reflects that diversity being 65% Filipino, 10% White, 15% Black including Caribbean Islanders and 10% other. The church has a wonderful music ministry, excellent fellowship opportunities and strongly committed lay leadership. It operates

2026 Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 18, and leads us through Good Friday, April 3, to Easter Sunday, April 5

We are grateful to again share this Lenten journey with our partners in ministry at CGS and FUMC. Please join us for:

*Ash Wednesday Service- February 18, at 7:15 PM at FUMC in Ridgefield Park (62 Cedar Street)

*Good Friday Service- April 3 at 7:15 PM at CGS in Bergenfield (326 New Bridge Rd)

All are welcome as we worship, pray, and walk with Christ toward the joy of Easter.
