🎉 Happy Birthday, Pastor! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating a man who loves God, loves his family, loves people… and loves hunting and fishing enough that we’re pretty sure they deserve an honorable mention somewhere on that list. 😂🎣🦌

Pastor, thank you for the way you consistently show up for your church family. You give so much of your time, your heart, and yourself to the people God has entrusted to you. Whether it’s preaching the Word, praying with someone, showing up when a family needs you, or simply greeting someone with that big smile and a hug, you make people feel seen, loved, and cared for.

Scripture says, “I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding.” — Jeremiah 3:15

We are so thankful God gave our church a pastor who truly has a shepherd’s heart. You don’t just preach about loving people—you live it, week after week. Your consistency, faithfulness, and genuine love for this house never go unnoticed.

We pray this next year brings you renewed strength, abundant joy, God’s continued favor… and maybe a few really big fish and a trophy buck, because we know those would feel a little like favor too. 🎣🦌

❤️‍🔥 REVIVAL STARTS IN US. ❤️‍🔥

Last night was GOOD. And if you weren't able to be with us, we want to share just a little of what God spoke to our hearts—because this isn't something we want to leave in the room.

When we hear the word revival, we often picture something BIG. A packed altar. A tent meeting. An overwhelming move of God.

But what if revival doesn't always start like that?

David's revival moment didn't begin when he stood in front of Goliath. It began in the ordinary. His father told him to take food to his brothers—and David obeyed. In the middle of responsibility, in the mundane, in simply doing what he'd been asked to do, David walked straight into a moment that would change not only his life, but an entire nation.

And isn't that so often how God works?

Azusa Street began after a small prayer gathering. Cane Ridge began with a communion service. Asbury began during an ordinary weekly chapel service. Nobody woke up that morning knowing, “Today's the day revival begins.” They were simply faithful with what was in front of them—and God showed up.

But last night's message didn't stop with David defeating Goliath.

People were watching David.

They watched how he fought. They watched how he lived. They watched his victories AND his struggles. And eventually, the men who had watched David face his giant became giant killers themselves.

🔥 “The man who stood alone against a giant ended up being surrounded by giant killers.”

So here's the question Sister Amanda left us with:
Who will fight differently because they watched you?

Because whether we realize it or not, people are watching our lives. They're watching how we respond when we're hurt. How we handle disappointment. How we walk through victory. How we treat people. How we follow Jesus when nobody is handing us a microphone or putting us on a platform.

Sometimes our greatest testimony isn't something we ever say.

It's the life we live.

Maybe revival isn't always loud.

Maybe revival looks like loving someone who doesn't deserve it.

Maybe it's forgiving the person who hurt you.

Maybe it's being faithful in something that feels small.

Maybe it's a quiet YES when Jesus asks you to obey.

Maybe the thing you've been calling mundane is actually the place where God is waiting to light a fire.

Last night we were challenged not just to pray, “Lord, send revival,” but to ask:
Lord, start revival in ME.
Search MY heart.
Show ME where I need to obey.
Let it begin with MY yes.

Because before revival can flow from us, it has to happen in us.

Revival starts with us.
Revival starts IN us.

And whew... if you missed last night, you MISSED a night. But the beautiful thing about this message is that revival didn't end when we walked out those doors.

You can say yes right where you are.

We don’t know exactly what God is going to do—but we’re coming expecting Him to do something.

Maybe it’s a fresh fire.
Maybe it’s a long-awaited answer.
Maybe it’s healing in a place you’ve kept hidden.
Maybe it’s simply falling in love with Jesus all over again.

Whatever He wants to do… we’re making room for it.
