Rooted fundamentally in scripture like Acts 1:8, believers are encouraged to act as personal testimonies of faith rather than passive onlookers. The word for witness (martys) mirrors a legal setting where someone testifies to facts they have personally seen or experienced. This mandate applies to all followers in everyday environments, regardless of formal ministry titles or outgoing personalities. Who will you share Jesus with today? We were not called to serve in silence. Let us sing His praises that others may know!

Are we guilty of giving to someone or something what only belongs to God? In the Bible, the phrase "God is a jealous God" means that God expects exclusive devotion and worship from His people. Found in verses like Exodus 34:14, this divine jealousy is different from human envy; it is a protective, righteous love that guards a committed relationship. God desires the absolute loyalty of His people, similar to a faithful spouse who expects complete faithfulness in a marriage.

Human envy wants what belongs to someone else. God’s jealousy protects the honor and worship that rightfully belong to Him alone.

Life is never better than when God is fully at the center of our lives, and fully at the center of our hearts. Placing God at the center brings profound peace, steady purpose, and true fulfillment, anchoring our hearts through every season of life.

What are the benefits when God is central in our lives?
Deep peace replaces worry with a calm spirit that is not easily shaken by outer circumstances. Clear direction aligns daily choices, priorities, and thoughts with a purposeful path. And, true contentment allows lasting satisfaction in His presence rather than fleeting worldly pursuits. Does He have His proper place in your life today? Life is never better than when God is fully at the center of our lives, and fully at the center of our hearts.

Every believer has a unique and vital role in the Body of Christ, as taught in 1 Corinthians 12. God assigns each person specific gifts and functions so the entire community of faith can grow, stay balanced, and serve with love. God arranges every part of the body just as He wants it. No part is unneeded or less important than another. Believers rely on each other like hands, eyes, and feet.

Notice what talents and abilities God gave you. Are they being used to His glory? Are you looking for a community where those talents and abilities can be utilized to make Christ known? The mission of the church is not just one program among many; it should be the driving force behind everything the church does. When a church is missions-minded, it is aligning itself with the heart of God, obeying Christ's command, and expanding its reach to the ends of the earth. A missions-minded church is one that is outward-facing, committed to making disciples both locally and globally, and continually equipping its members to live as missionaries wherever they are. Have you spent time in the Word today? God wants you to know him. He has made this possible by revealing himself in Scripture. When you are diligent to prioritize his Word, he is faithful to meet you there.

We read God’s Word because it is his revelation of himself to his people. It is one of the most tangible, intimate experiences of knowing God that we have on this side of heaven. If we have been changed by God’s grace through Christ, then we should gladly seek to know him more through the Word he has given us to know him by!

We also read Scripture because it makes us look more like Jesus. This doesn’t happen immediately; in fact it is often a slow process. But if you commit to continually spending time in God’s word, you will be changed. From day to day, from month to month, from year to year… God will be faithful to grow you in the knowledge of him through his Word.

Finding God's direction involves three key practices: reading scripture, praying for wisdom, and obeying daily.
•Remember that God will never tell you to do something that goes against His written word.
•Be ready to accept God's answer even if it is not what you planned. •Trust that God can guide your steps and correct your path as you go.

Believing that God's timing is perfect means trusting that plans unfold at the exact right moment, even when faced with waiting, delays, or unfulfilled dreams. It encourages patience, faith, and peace instead of worry or rushing. Human plans focus on immediate deadlines, while divine plans look at the full picture and ultimate purpose. God's timing is always right on time!
