“The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the LORD God had made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?” (Genesis 3:1). Tonight, GCC kids read how God created Adam and Eve, and placed them in the garden of Eden. Then, we discussed the fall of man and how sin entered into the world. Our sins can only be washed away by Jesus Christ. We performed an experiment with tarnished coins and white vinegar to represent this. We had two attendance prize winners-congratulations Maverick and Lainee!

Last night, GCC kids wrapped up their study on creation with a recap of days 1-6. Then, we read in Genesis 2 about how God rested on the seventh day. We decorated posters to help us retell the story of God’s creation, and celebrated with ice cream and all the toppings!

Day 6 of creation: God created animals and man! “Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good…” (Genesis 1:31). Colton was the winner of our game—last to name an animal 🦁. Laynee and Jackson both won prizes for attendance 🎉.
