Struggling to make time to get into the Word? Feeling discouraged or overwhelmed, because the Bible seems hard to understand? Life have you so distracted that you’ve been neglecting your normal time reading and studying scripture?

Today, if any of these apply to you, I want to encourage you to take some time out of your day to read one of the stories of these amazing women of the Bible. Ask the Holy Spirit to sit with you, to fill you with wisdom, understanding and discernment as you read. Ask Him to make the accounts come to life in your mind. Ask Him to be your teacher. He is faithful to answer our prayers!

Reading the Bible daily is how we learn God’s character, Jesus’ ways, about walking in the Spirit and so much more. It’s how we forge a relationship with our Savior. The enemy wants nothing more than to busy and distract you, so that you will not pick up that Bible. He knows its power. Today, tell that devil to hush, get into the Word and talk to Jesus about what it says!
