What a blessing today has been! Jenna was baptized showing her profession of faith in Jesus Christ and officially joined the Valley Baptist church family. We’re rejoicing in the good work the Lord has done! 🙏

What a joyful and meaningful day in children’s church! 🌼

Today, the children learned about how God grows them wherever He plants them, and how we are to grow in our faith and trust in Jesus each and every day. To go along with the lesson, they had the opportunity to plant flowers—such a special way to watch and remember how God helps us grow! 🌱

We are so thankful for these little feet in our church and the joy they bring. God is truly at work in their hearts! 💛

What a truly blessed day in the Lord! 🙏

Today, we celebrated as Natalee Taylor was baptized—a beautiful public profession of her faith and trust in Jesus Christ. We are also thrilled to welcome her as a member of Valley Baptist Church and look forward with great anticipation to all that God has in store for her life.

We also rejoiced in celebrating Blakelynn Bullock, who was saved and baptized in November! Our hearts are full of gratitude and joy today. God is so good! ✨

God is so good! 🙌

We are so thankful and excited to welcome our new pastor, Barry Hurst, and his wife, Stephanie, to our church family. It’s such a blessing to see how God provides exactly who we need at just the right time.

We truly believe the Lord has called them here for a reason, and we’re looking forward to all He’s going to do through their lives and leadership.

Please keep them in your prayers as they step into this new season. We are grateful, blessed, and expectant for what’s ahead! ❤️

The WMU Quarterly Meeting (that had to be postponed in February due to weather) has been rescheduled to Tuesday night, March 3rd, 6pm at the Rockcastle Association Office. The theme is “Focus on WMU”. All the WMUs are invited to set up a table to share mission projects you’ve done/are doing. If you’ve adopted an MSC missionary invite them to come with your group. We’d love to hear from them about their ministry.
There will be “3” mission opportunities:
1)bring peanut butter and jelly-which will be given to Community Mission Team (Katheryn Pope);
2)bring purse size hand sanitizers-which will be given to Hope Ministry (Kaye Heseltine)
3)AND we will have a collection jug to receive donations to help Shirley Cox to purchase Bibles for Lake Cumberland Recovery!
*All ladies are invited to come! Please let Tanya, Fannie or Janet know if you are able to attend. (The Association WMU Leadership need an estimate of how many will be attending to prepare a grab & go treat).
