DOM Visited VBS at Rosedale Baptist Church on Monday night. The church fed the children before the VBS began. Well organized and a great ratio of adults and children. This VBS was in partnership with Rugged Cross Cowboy Church which meets in Rosedale's facilities on Thursday nights. Pastor Jeff Duncan (RC Cowboy Church) and Pastor Chris Dotson (Rosedale) taught groups during the VBS. Also rode out (in my car), to Viney Fork. I had information they were conducting VBS this week, but apparently that information was wrong. Pictures are from Rosedale.

Marie Wing just did a tabulation of the number of TCBA MexiGo teams that have traveled to Mexico as part of the TCBA Partnership with the Queretaro and Guanajuato States. We have had 26 teams serve down their since we voted to adopt the partnership which began in March 2013! That is absolutely amazing. These teams have conducted Medical Clinics, VBS, Block Parties, Park Renovations, Scripture Distribution, Bible Storying Conferences, Marriage Counseling Training, Men's and Women's Workshops, Sunday School Teachers Training, Architectural Planning, Relationship Building and lots of Evangelism. These areas have been impacted greatly with many new believers being added to existing churches and new churches have been planted. God has blessed our efforts. And the partnership is set to grow exponentially as three TCBA churches have just returned from a vision trip and a fourth church will join with them to partner with another city of 2% or less evangalized. Thank you TCBA churches for caring about reaching the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I am in my last week as DOM of Tates Creek Baptist Association. Movers come tomorrow to pick up our household goods. We will receive them in Hopkinsville on Wednesday and then we will return to Richmond to clean the house. Heavy schedule this week with 3 VBS', several committee meetings, and a going away lunch down on the Kentucky River banks with Jimmy Fritz and his gang. Really going to miss the people and churches of the Tates Creek Baptist Association. On the other hand, really excited about the future and what God has in store for us. I will probably say it again many times this week, but thank you TCBA churches and members for being such great representatives of God's Kingdom and for the excellent way you have supported us. God bless!

Enjoyed visiting the VBS at Silver Creek Baptist Church, Berea. Good group of children and an excellent cadre of adult teachers and leaders. Served hot dogs and hamburgers hot off the grill. Great creativity with decorations to reinforce teachings (pay particular attention to the picture of the water fountain). And watch out for flying dragonflies.

Three Tates Creek Baptist Association churches conducting VBS this week: Silver Creek, Viney Fork, and Rosedale Baptist Churches. These VBS' will conclude a great season of VBS in our association. DOM heading out to Silver Creek now.

Emmanuel Baptist Church, Berea is conducting VBS this week. Joey Kays is the Pastor. Great group of volunteers teaching and leading during the VBS. Another example of TCBA churches caring for children.

DOM looking forward to worshiping and preaching at First Baptist Church, Richmond during both morning worship services. This will be the DOM's last opportunity to preach at a Tates Creek Baptist Association Church before he officially retires in a few days. What a tremendous privilege and honor it has been to be entrusted to preach from the pulpits of the churches of the association during his tenure as Director of Missions. May God continue to bless and use the churches of this association to win the lost to Jesus and to disciple them in His Way.

The DOM visited VBS in two churches tonight. First, he visited White Lick Baptist Church. Really good group of children and lots of adult leaders and workers. He spent a little time with Pastor Wayne Dunn. After visiting White Lick, he traveled over to Berea and spent some time at Galilee Baptist Church. Another excellent group of children and adult leaders. Talked with Pastor Lee Abney and heard his vision for the church. It was evident again as I spoke to the Pastors is that they are striving to provide excellent teaching for the children of their communities and that they really love the children and their parents. Thank you TCBA church pastors for loving children.

DOM visited two VBSs tonight. First he attended the worship/opening to the Tates Creek Baptist Church, Richmond. They were well organized with lots of adults working with a great group of children. The church invested in decorating the church to support the theme. Well done Tates Creek. He then visited Harrison Memorial in Richmond. They are a small church, but they really care for their children. Thank you Tates Creek Baptist Church and Harrison Memorial for caring about and for our children.

Kentucky Changers 2015 Madison County is now a part of history. Tonight the Changers, their leaders, government officials, and home owners gathered together to celebrate the work God did during these last few days. Emotional testimonies were given by many of the home owners about how God had blessed them through the repairs/renovations performed by the Changers. All mentioned not just the construction help but the relationships the Youth built with them. But the houses and the home owners were not the only things changed. The Youth were changed, too. This was evident when those Changers who had made life changing decisions during the week to come forward. 51 Youth rapidly came forward. 15 had made professions of faith and 36 indicated a sense of calling to ministry. It really was a night of celebration. Thank you Lord
