Good Friday Services
Join us on Good Friday for Family Stations of the cross (tailored to Early Childhood and Elementary families) from 3p - 7p This is a drop in a walk through as a family.
Tenebrae Services, 5pm or 7pm
The word Tenebrae means “darkness.” Throughout the service, Scripture narratives and songs walk through the story of Jesus’ early life, Kingdom Ministry, betrayal, suffering, and crucifixion. As the story progresses, the lights in the room are gradually dimmed and candles are extinguished. This helps create a quiet, reflective atmosphere that mirrors the sadness and weight of the moment when Jesus died.
For families considering bringing children, here are a few helpful things to know:
Families are welcome, this service tells the serious story of Jesus’ sacrifice—nothing graphic, but meaningful. For children who can sit through a quieter service, it’s a powerful way to prepare hearts for the joy of Easter.
