Camp Mystic is a summer camp just outside the town of Kerrville, Texas.
It’s nestled in the unincorporated community of Hunt along the Guadalupe River- the most dangerous river valley in the United States.
All all girls Christian summer camp.
In the early morning hours of July 4th, more than ten inches of rain fell and a flash flood swept away campers.
As of Saturday morning at 10am (July 5th), there are 16 named campers missing.
Three campers have been found though not in a way their families hoped- Renee Smajstria, Janie Hunt, and Sarah Marsh.
Millions of us drop off our children for summer camp and we look forward to pick up day.
Hearts are broken around the country.
Lots of love and prayers being sent to these families that are just like us.

He says, “Let them sing” (Luke 19:38-40). If they don’t, the rocks will cry out my name. There is one God, and He became flesh.

Let them sing, because now is the time. I am the one. I am the Son of David.

The Son of David—Matthew 1:1. The first words of the Gospel tell us that Jesus is the Son of David.

Here are two verses to reflect on:

Psalm 118:25-26 and Matthew 21:9.

A quote from Spurgeon about an unsung hero who few will ever know. As believers, we cannot become spiritually lazy or complacent to the gospel. A reminder that God has placed people in your lives for a reason and you might be the only example of the gospel that person will ever encounter. The cost to be silent is to great.

This is a quote about Mrs. Bartlett, who, starting as a substitute for a Bible study of only 3 women, grew the study to 600 to 700 annual learners and is believed to be the result of over 900 to 1000 members of Spurgeon's church.

The idea that you have to be a pastor or missionary to influence people for the gospel is a lie from the enemy, there is no biblical difference in mandate between any christian. All are called to proclaim the gospel.

The Well Family: We have updated our schedule for this year’s Bible studies.😀 Bible Study will now take place on Sunday evenings from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Brights’ home. However, on the first Sunday of each month, we’ll have a hangout night with fellowship, food, and games just to get to know one another.

The holidays are here. Church family, let's celebrate together. This Thursday, bring one of your favorite dishes and we will enjoy some fellowship and good food. The church will provide the turkey, but we will need drinks, desserts, and sides. Meet us at the community center from 6-7:00 pm. Please let Lauren or David know what you are bringing for organization purposes.
