Midweek reminder ❤️

Some of us spend way too much time thinking we have to “get our lives together” before coming to God.

Fix ourselves first.

Do better first.

Stop struggling first.

But the good news of Jesus is this:

You don’t have to clean yourself up before coming to God.

The door isn’t locked.

Because of Jesus, you can come near—right in the middle of the struggle, the questions, the fear, the mess.

Grace is still available.

Mercy is still available.

And God isn’t asking you to run from Him tonight.

He’s inviting you to draw near.

Stop hiding from God when you mess up! 😭 Just like Adam and Eve tried to hide after they sinned, we often run away when we should be running TO our Father. You have a High Priest who gets it - He’s been tempted in every way but remained victorious! 💪

Another Sunday together ❤️

Good conversations. Meaningful worship. Time in God’s Word. Kids laughing. Friends reconnecting. New faces. Familiar faces.

Yesterday reminded us again that church is more than a place you attend—it’s people growing together as we follow Jesus.

We’re thankful for every person who walked through the doors yesterday. Already looking forward to next Sunday.

They saw a king coming for political freedom, but Jesus saw the cross that would bring eternal freedom! 🔥 While the crowd hoped for temporary deliverance, Christ provided permanent redemption. The difference? One was about a nation, the other about YOUR soul.

Jesus defended Mary's extravagant worship against Judas's criticism, and in doing so, He revealed something beautiful about God's heart: we cannot worship Him too much. There's no such thing as loving Jesus excessively or honoring Him too greatly. God will never look down at us and say, "Please tone it down a little bit. You love me too much."

This is liberating news for those of us who sometimes hold back in our worship, afraid of appearing too enthusiastic or too passionate. God doesn't want our measured, calculated devotion - He wants our whole hearts. He's worthy of our most extravagant praise, our deepest love, our complete surrender.

Mary's act of worship filled the entire house with fragrance, and our wholehearted devotion to Jesus should have the same effect. When we worship Him with abandon, it impacts everyone around us. Our joy becomes contagious, our peace becomes evident, our love becomes attractive.

Jesus is worthy of it all - our time, our resources, our dreams, our fears, our everything. He gave His life for us; surely we can give our lives to Him. Don't hold back in your worship. Don't measure your devotion. Give Him everything, because He deserves nothing less.

Judas sounded so spiritual when he criticized Mary's worship. "Why wasn't this perfume sold and the money given to the poor?" His words seemed noble, caring, even righteous. But Jesus saw right through the religious language to Judas's true heart - he was a thief who cared only about himself.

This is a sobering warning for all of us. It's possible to speak the right words, participate in ministry, and appear morally superior while our hearts remain far from God. We can use spiritual language to hide selfish motives, just like Judas did. We can criticize others' worship while our own hearts are cold and calculating.

Proximity to Jesus doesn't guarantee a transformed heart. Judas walked with Jesus for three years, heard His teachings, witnessed His miracles, yet remained unchanged. He was physically close but spiritually distant. Religious activity without heart transformation is just performance.

The question isn't just what we say about Jesus, but what our lives reveal about our love for Him. Do our actions match our words? Are we genuinely following Christ, or just going through the motions? God sees past our spiritual vocabulary to the true condition of our hearts.
