A look forward into events this weekend:

There will be a Youth and Family Potluck from 5:30 to 6:30 this Wednesday! Bring a friend, bring a dish, and let’s have fellowship together!

Sunday night, we will be having a back to school night. We will be having games, worship, and a message! Bring a friend to join us in worship.

Can’t wait to see you all this week for our events!!

Reminder !!

Signups for the Travelers Game on August 8th close this Saturday, August 1st. Ticket price is $20 which covers admission to the game and unlimited food.

We are so thankful to have had the week we did at Assembly last week where we got to worship with fellow United Methodist youth groups from across Arkansas!

As we get into school year and starting back normal ministry, we are offering some welcome events spread out throughout the month of August!

Here is a look into some of our welcome events happening this week in Youth Ministries:

On Friday night, it’s Lights, Camera, Ka-Chow as we meet in the Big Youth Room for movie night at 7:00!

Also, this upcoming Sunday night, we will be doing “Youth Versus Families” Minute to Win It Games at 4:00!

Can’t wait to see y’all this week for these fun events!

Assembly 2026 is a WRAP! All of our youth had SUCH a good week and we are so thankful to now be able to go out and share about our impact!

Halfway through the week… good thing the heroes showed up.

On day 4 and 5 we got to be tourists.

Trinity college, the book of Kells was booked so we missed that one but we did get to go to St. Patrick’s Cathedral and while there a choir was rehearsing!!! Amazing!!
Then to the Cliffs of Moher. Also amazing and then on the way home we stopped in small towns to eat lunch and see a the castle of King John…bummer that he never actually lived there. But we got to walk through an actual castle. It was very interactive and hands on

So thankful for this trip and all that helped make it happen. We are all truly grateful and can’t wait to show all we learned and put into practice being a living sanctuary

Day 3

nourishing and connecting sanctuary

”You will bring them in and plant them on the mountain of your possession; Lord, you have prepared the place for your dwelling; Lord, your hands have established the sanctuary.“
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭15‬:‭17‬ ‭

Don’t measure your value by how visible it it’s today. A seed starts small, and then GROWS! Begin where you are! And GROW! And go and be what this place has been for you to someone else. be His sanctuary

Day 2 shaping and healing our sanctuary

Matthew 13.24-40

Jesus refuses to let the weeds define the field.
If we only see the weeds we eventually won’t believe the wheat even exists and then we stop planting. But instead focus on the wheat, tend to the wheat and the good will become plentiful

Jesus still tends our fields! We aren’t called to be identifiers of weeds we are called to keep growing the wheat!!

We enjoyed the Yakima nation in Washington state call to worship dance and song

Group picture with the whole Arkansas group as well as an early morning HOG Call to get the crowd going.

Day 1: creating and planting a sanctuary

When a seed falls on good soil, it grows and bears fruit…

The map has changed but the mission hasn’t. Creating sanctuary where ever we go.
