When we lose the fear and awe of God, what once convicted us no longer bothers us. This is dangerous. If God becomes common, we wrongly assume our sin is manageable. Stop calling it a 'struggle' and face it for what it is: sin. When God's weightiness is restored, repentance becomes essential.
