The Benton Church is a gathering of people seeking to know God in Jesus Christ and to live out the implications of that relationship in the 21st century. We work together to make TBC a great place to LOVE, LEARN, & LIVE. We believe there are two great commands in the New Testament that govern everything we do. The first is to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength (Matthew 22.37). And the second is to go into all the world and make disciples (Matthew 28.18-20).

Were you singing in the rain today? We can't promise it will rain on Sunday, but we will be singing at The Benton Church at 10 am. We have a new sermon series starting and you know what that means - we have a Hymn Sing before worship. This series is titled The Heart of Worship and the first message is titled The Focus of Our Worship. Our Sunday Worship Services start at 10:30, but come at 10am if you want to join us and sing from the hymnals. Invite a friend that loves to sing to join us.

It's okay that we feel good during worship, but that's not the end result. Of course our souls will feel alive when they do what they were made to do. But the goal is adoration of God, not exaltation of ourselves.
