The Benton Church is a gathering of people seeking to know God in Jesus Christ and to live out the implications of that relationship in the 21st century. We work together to make TBC a great place to LOVE, LEARN, & LIVE. We believe there are two great commands in the New Testament that govern everything we do. The first is to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength (Matthew 22.37). And the second is to go into all the world and make disciples (Matthew 28.18-20).

Tuesday Ministry Spotlight: Kids Church

What do kids actually learn in Kids Church?

Well many awesome things! But recently, we’ve been helping our kids learn intentional ways to pray. During August and September, we have been practicing breath prayers: short, simple prayers that help kids pause, focus on God, and remember what they’ve learned.

Each week, kids practice the prayer related to our lesson at church and then take it home to put somewhere they’ll see it throughout the week. Our hope is that these simple reminders help kids build a habit of prayer that goes beyond Sunday morning.
