Celebrating the life of Suzanne DuVall.
Suzanne Day DuVall, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024, at the age of 83.
She led a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to her family and friends.
Suzanne was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on September 10, 1941, the daughter of E.T. (Edwin) and Sammie Caraway Day. She grew up surrounded by love, with her brothers Terry Day and Don Day, and her sister Sally Day Smith.
In 1963, Suzanne married Phillip DuVall. Together, they shared 51 wonderful years of marriage, marked by love and unwavering support for each other. Their bond was a testament to the power of partnership, and her family finds comfort knowing that she is now reunited with Phillip in eternal peace.
Suzanne is survived by her daughter, Joanie (Mike) Delcambre of Montgomery, TX, son Mike (Devlin) DuVall of Austin, TX. Her legacy continues through her four grandchildren, Matt Delcambre, Lizzy (Brook) Waddell, Erin (Kevin) Jennings, Eric Delcambre, and three great grandchildren, Genevieve and Benjamin Waddell, and Caroline Jennings.
A proud graduate of Arkansas High School, Suzanne furthered her education at East Texas University, earning her degree in education. She worked as a software developer for many years, dedicating her career to the Red River organization until her well-earned retirement.
Suzanne was known for her loving and sweet disposition and funny sense of humor.
As we remember Suzanne Day DuVall, let us celebrate a life well-lived. She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A memorial service in celebration of Suzanne’s life will be 11 am on Saturday April 26, 2025 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Tull, AR.
