Give us day by day our daily bread. Luke 11:3. This is part of the Lord’s prayer. We have been so incredibly blessed that none of us has not had food to eat. But we do not need to take this for granted. We need to pray for our daily food and water. We need to pray for the farmers across this globe to yield big crops to continually feed the world. It takes a lot of food and we never know when a drought could happen. We need to pray for rain to fall as needed for the crops and have fresh water. We need to give thanks for every bit of food we are blessed to eat. So let’s make it a habit to pray daily for our food. Pray for our farmers and for the perfect growing weather.

Let Brotherly Love Continue. Hebrews 13:1. We are Family. We are Brothers and Sisters in Christ. We come to church from a variety of backgrounds yet all with a common purpose. We want to give thanks to our Heavenly Father for the blessings He has given us this past week. We want to worship Him & to carry on His work. We need each other to stay motivated and inspired. We are better together. We are stronger together. We love more richly together. We are Family.

Continue in prayer, and Watch in the same hour with Thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2. Whatever it is we are praying for. We need to be persistent in it. Then we are to Watch and see what God is doing. In the midst of this watch we are to remain in a constant spirit of Thanksgiving. Pray. Watch. Give Thanks and then Repeat. PWGR. Pray. Watch. Give Thanks. Repeat till God shows up. Often times He enjoys being a Show off and blesses with more than we ever hoped for.

He shall give His Angels charge over thee. Luke 4:10 if we could have spiritual eyes to see, we might be surprised to find heavenly Angels sitting in our homes, watching over us by our bedsides, or riding along with us in the car or outside of ur vehicles to guard against any possible collisions. I envision whenever I take an airplane ride that the Angels are in front , back, top, and underneath the plane to deliver it safely to and from the destinations. I believe Angels whisper to us and no telling how else they have brought protection and comforts to our lives. God also gives us human Angels. Those people who come to our aid when life has beat us to a pulp and we can’t find the strength to get up. They will come swooping in with a kind word, a baked apple pie, or whisk us off to something fun or just sit and listen to us vent and cry. They refresh our hearts and revive our souls. Thank God for the Angels in our lives seen or unseen.

Thou crownest the year with thy goodness and thy path drop fatness. Psalms 65 :11 When good things and good times come rolling in that is God dropping a pile of fatness on your path. Just lift up a hand of praise like a high five for His blessings. Like our picture says in the fellowship hall, Thank God He does not measure grace out in Teaspoons. God grabs His big Spoon and just starts dropping piles along our way. Wonder what piles He has dropped down today for us? Don’t forget to send God some high fives when you discover them!!

I do set my bow in the cloud and it shall be a token of a covenant between me and the earth. Genesis 9:13. Rainbows are a thing of beauty to behold. We all seem to pause and soak in the colors and how the bow stretches out. It seems to give a sense of calm reassurances. But to enjoy the rainbow, you have to go thru a storm. Isn’t that how life tends to go? Life is a series of ups and downs and twists and turns. There is always something to be grateful and if you hang in there you just might find a beautiful rainbow. When you lare in the storm just ask God to stay with you and then keep watching for those rainbows because they are coming and when they do soak in their beauty. Try to be a rainbow in someone’s cloud.

Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt. Colossians 4:6. The older I get the more I appreciate grace. Grace is receiving some undeserved favors and mercy. We are imperfect people who constantly make mistakes. So thankful God doesn’t say three strikes and you are out. When people gripe, grumble, get snappy with you. If we can just pause and give them some grace before we just lash back with something that’s just as ugly. We never know what kind of a battle they are going thru. It could be no money to pay a bill or their child wants to play a sport but the family can’t afford the fees & equipment. Might possibly be in a bad relationship. So if we can give grace then follow up with a helpful uplifting comment. We just sprinkled some salt into their world & maybe just maybe they will stop gripping and have a more positive day. Better yet, they want to know what you have that keeps you positive and possibly they will discover Jesus thru your actions.

They are new every morning; great is they Faithfulness. Lamentations 3:23. It’s a New Morning and a New Month. God starts each morning with new mercies and compassions. That’s a wonderful thought. Take some time today and reflect upon the month of May. The events that happened. What brought you the most joys. What were your greatest challenges? A new month is like a clean slate. What will this new month hold? Praise God for all the blessings in May and ask for them this month. Ask for His protection and guidance. Our VBS is this month. Let’s all start praying big time for its success. May June 2026 be a most blessed one to each of you and to our church.
