What We Believe

We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit to write the words of Scripture. Therefore, the Bible is without error. We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to man and to

become the Savior of the lost world. We believe that man was created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him, but became alienated from that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man is totally incapable of coming back into a right relationship with God by his own effort. We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sins. Therefore, salvation only occurs when a person places his faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as the sufficient payment for his sin. We believe that every Christian should live for Christ and not for himself. By obedience to the Word and daily yielding to the Spirit, every believer will mature and become conformed to the image of Christ. We believe that the church is the body of Christ of which Jesus Christ is the Head. The members are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and by making Him known to a lost world.

What do we do when life hurts and we don't understand why?

This Sunday, we’re continuing our Questions series by taking on one of the hardest questions we all wrestle with: If God is good, why does He allow us to suffer?

Suffering can leave us with more questions than answers, but even when life doesn't make sense, we can know that God is present, faithful, and still good. This Sunday, we'll explore what it means to trust Him even in the middle of difficult circumstances.

Even though this past Sunday didn't go quite as planned, we are so grateful we still got to see many of you through our drive-thru donuts and worship guides as we gathered from home for Week 2 of our *Questions* series! 🍩

If you missed it, we talked about the Bible, why we can trust God's Word, and how we can rely on it to know God and walk in the plans He has for us. If you haven't had a chance to watch, head over to our YouTube channel and catch up!

We are so looking forward to being back together THIS SUNDAY as we continue *Questions* and explore different religions and what it means to know that Jesus is the way.

Hey everyone!

We wanted to give you an update about services today. Unfortunately, our building is still without power, and it looks like it won’t be restored until later today. Because of this, here’s the plan for today:

🍩 9:30 AM — Drive-thru donuts and worship guides in the Midtowne parking lot

💻 10:30 AM — Join us online as we livestream our worship service! Gather with your family from home and worship with us virtually.

We’re sad that we won’t be able to gather together in person today, but we’re thankful for the opportunity to worship together virtually as we continue to seek the Lord and grow together as a church.

We’ll see you soon!

Hey everyone,

Thank you for the concern about the church roof at Midtowne. We are aware and working on fixing the damage right now.

We do not foresee the damage affecting our services and still plan to meet at 9am and 10:30am tomorrow.

If we need to make changes we will communicate them here from our page and other social channels.

Thank you you all so much for your concern and care - we love and appreciate our community!

We are so excited for those who have publicly expressed their faith and new life in Christ through baptism over the last couple of Sundays! 🙌

Join us in celebrating these individuals who have taken this bold step of obedience and publicly declared their devotion to Jesus and the hope they have found in Him.

What a beautiful picture of the Gospel. Lives transformed, old things made new, and people choosing to follow Jesus!

We are so grateful for what God is doing in the lives of these individuals, and we can't wait to see where He leads them next. Let's celebrate together! 🎉
