Summer to Remember 2026 begins tomorrow night. If you are not involved in a church on Wednesday nights this summer, then I am inviting you to join us.

I am very excited about this summer because we will be focusing all our efforts and memorization in Romans 8 beginning with the fact that there is no condemnation to any of us that are in Christ Jesus. This should be of great excitement and encouragement to you.

We will begin this Wednesday night at 6:30pm in the sanctuary discussing this tremendous doctrinal fact. Please read Romans 1-8 before tomorrow night to refresh your memory as to how we get into Christ Jesus and why we need in Christ Jesus.

Please make plans to attend, it is going to be a great time.

Today Is the Day of Salvation
Procrastination can be dangerous, especially when it comes to eternal matters. Many people think they have unlimited time to make a decision about Jesus Christ. But Scripture reminds us that today is the day of salvation. We don't know what tomorrow holds, and we certainly don't want to face the future without the security of knowing Jesus as our Savior. The fourth horseman represents death itself, reminding us that life is precious and uncertain. But here's the beautiful truth: we don't have to fear death or the future when we belong to Jesus. He has conquered death and offers us eternal life. If you've been putting off a decision about Jesus, don't wait. His arms are open wide, ready to receive you with love and forgiveness. Today can be the day your eternal future is secured in Him.

Bible Verse
'I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.' - Luke 13:3
Reflection Question
What's keeping you from fully surrendering your life to Jesus Christ today?

Quote
Today is your day to make the choice for Jesus Christ Today is the day of salvation
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for Your mercy and grace. Help us not to delay in our commitment to You, knowing that today is the day of salvation.

Today we are just chilling on the ship, resting, and relaxing. I will not be sending out email devotions this next week but will hopefully get them back going when I return. Continue reading Revelation.

Finding Abundance in Scarcity
Economic uncertainty touches all our lives. Rising costs, job insecurity, and financial stress can make us anxious about providing for our families. The third horseman brings extreme scarcity where basic necessities become luxuries. Yet even in this sobering picture, we see God's provision. Notice that oil and wine are protected - God preserves what He chooses to preserve. This reminds us that our Provider sees our needs and cares for us. When we face financial challenges, we can remember that our God owns the cattle on a thousand hills. He fed the Israelites in the wilderness and provided for the widow's oil. Our security isn't in our bank account or economic stability - it's in the One who promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory.

Bible Verse
'And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine."' - Revelation 6:6

Reflection Question
How can you trust God's provision when facing financial uncertainty or economic hardship?

Quote
One quart would be a whole day's worth of finances just to buy one quart of wheat.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, help us to trust in Your provision and not be consumed by worry about material needs. You are our faithful Provider.

Today we are boarding our cruise ship for an 8 day adventure and relaxation. We are praying for you, please pray for us.

When Peace Turns to Chaos
Life can change in an instant. One moment we feel secure, and the next, our world is turned upside down. The second horseman reminds us that human peace is fragile and temporary. Wars, conflicts, and division seem to dominate our news cycles, and sometimes we wonder if things will ever get better. But here's the encouraging truth: even in the midst of chaos, God remains in control. He sees every conflict, every broken relationship, every moment of turmoil in our personal lives. While the world may experience unprecedented warfare, we can find refuge in the One who is our fortress and strength. Our security doesn't depend on world peace or perfect circumstances - it depends on our relationship with the God who never changes, even when everything around us does.

Bible Verse
'And when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet.' - Matthew 24:6-7

Reflection Question
How can you maintain inner peace when the world around you feels chaotic and uncertain?

Quote
When this red horse comes, there's never been a time that the death and war and destruction is going to be is what it's going to be.

Prayer
God, in times of conflict and uncertainty, be our refuge and strength. Help us to trust in Your unchanging character.

We are flying out today for a couple weeks. Thanks for your prayers. If you need anything, Bro. Austin is available or if just needing some prayer or something I can do away, then leave me a message, text, or email and I will respond as quickly as I have service and can.

The Deception of False Peace
In our world today, we long for peace and prosperity. We see leaders promising solutions to global conflicts and economic struggles. But Scripture warns us about a coming false peace that will deceive many. The first horseman appears peaceful - carrying a bow without arrows - yet he represents the greatest deception in human history. This reminds us that not all peace comes from God. True peace can only be found in Jesus Christ, not in political promises or human solutions. As believers, we must be discerning about the sources of peace we trust. While we pray for peace in our world, we know that lasting peace will only come when the Prince of Peace returns. Until then, we can experience His peace that surpasses understanding, even in turbulent times.

Bible Verse
'For when they say, "Peace and safety!" then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.' - Revelation 6:1-8

Reflection Question
What's the difference between the peace the world offers and the peace that Jesus gives?

Quote
He has a bow, but he has no arrow. He has no way of doing. And so we know that this is going to be a time of peace, it's going to be a time of prosperity.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, help us to discern between false peace and Your true peace. Keep our hearts anchored in You alone.

God's Open Book of the Future
Have you ever wished you could peek into the future? God has given us exactly that through His Word. Unlike surprise attacks or hidden agendas, our loving Father wants us to know what's coming so we can be prepared. The book of Revelation isn't meant to frighten us but to reveal Jesus Christ and His ultimate victory. When we understand God's timeline, we realize He's not caught off guard by world events - He's sovereignly orchestrating history toward His perfect plan. This knowledge should bring us comfort, not anxiety. Just as a loving parent prepares their children for what lies ahead, God prepares us through His prophetic Word. We don't have to live in uncertainty about the future because our God is faithful to reveal His plans to those who seek Him.

Bible Verse
'And he said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority."' - Matthew 24:3-5

Reflection Question
How does knowing that God wants to prepare you for the future change your perspective on current world events?

Quote
God does not want us to be ignorant. God wants us to know. And so these things aren't hidden, these things aren't secret.

Prayer
Father, thank You for not leaving us in darkness about the future. Help us to trust in Your perfect timing and find peace in Your sovereign plan.
