Today we send prayers to those in Somerset, KY, as well as many other communities that were affected by yesterday’s severe weather. We send love to those who not only lost homes, but also loved ones. They have a long road ahead and need all the support they can get.

Lord, help us to speak love and kindness, and to think before we speak. Let our words be of love and encouragement to speak life into others.

1 week post op update:
I’m still sore, but not near as much as I was the first 4 days. Surgery was probably around 9:00 that morning, and I was home around 1-1:30 that afternoon. Everything went well, not only was there the softball size cyst, there was also one 2-3 cm, and several that were less than 0.4 cm. They also had to remove my left o***y.
Thank you for the prayers, and please keep them coming for my post op appointment next week.

Hi all, please keep me (Abie Shumaker) in your prayers this morning. I am currently on my way to the hospital to have surgery to have a softball size cyst removed from my left o***y. Keep my husband, my family, and medical team in your prayers as well. Thank you! God’s got this!

Help us to draw into You and not drift. Be our anchor and our guide in every circumstance. Give us servant hearts for You, and teach us to put You first.

Lord,
Help us to have hope in every circumstance, and remind us that You are with us in every step of our journeys, no matter how smooth or rough the path is. Help us to keep our eyes on Heaven. Thank You for Your blessings on us; past, present, and future.

Lord,
Let us always draw to You, remind us to live in the moment, and not worry over the future. We know that Your plan for us is good and prosperous. Help us to sift through our minds, to realize the difference between Your voice, and the taunts of this world. Protect and guide us always.

Our hearts break today for all of the victims of last night’s tornadoes. Today we send our prayers for their recovery, both physical and mental, as they have a long road ahead.
