"Clean Yourself For The Crossing"

(5) And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the LORD will do wonders among you.
Joshua 3:5 - KJV

Food For Thought:
Before Israel crossed over into the Promised Land, God required that they sanctify themselves. This is still true today. Many people want the LORD to change their circumstance or situation, but they resist personal cleaning or transformation. Before God changes our location, He often addresses our condition. If we want Him to take us new places, we must be prepared to clean up our lives and mindsets.

Food For Thought:
Before Israel entered Canaan, an entire generation died in the wilderness. This did not happen because God lacked power. It occurred because they lacked faith. Their lack of faith cost them the Promised Land. Similarly, we forfeit blessings and "promised places" due to our unbelief and disobedience.
