Today we celebrate Pentecost: the day the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles and transformed their hearts. After the Resurrection, they remained hidden, filled with fear and uncertainty; but the Spirit gave them strength, courage, and new life to go forth and proclaim the Gospel to the world. That same Spirit had already worked before in Mary, when the angel said to her: “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you” (Lk 1:35). In Mary, the Spirit brought Christ into the world; at Pentecost, that same Spirit gave life to the Body of Christ, the Church. What began in the quiet “yes” of Mary later blossomed in the bold preaching of the apostles. And today, the Holy Spirit continues to do the same: transforming fearful hearts into living witnesses of the Gospel.

Hoy celebramos Pentecostés: el día en que el Espíritu Santo descendió sobre los apóstoles y transformó sus corazones. Después de la resurrección, ellos permanecían escondidos, llenos de miedo e incertidumbre; pero el Espíritu les dio fuerza, valentía y una vida nueva para salir a proclamar el Evangelio al mundo. Ese mismo Espíritu ya había obrado antes en María, cuando el ángel le dijo: “El Espíritu Santo vendrá sobre ti y el poder del Altísimo te cubrirá con su sombra” (Lc 1,35). En María, el Espíritu dio vida a Cristo en el mundo; en Pentecostés, ese mismo Espíritu dio vida al Cuerpo de Cristo que es la Iglesia. Lo que comenzó en el silencio del sí de María, floreció después en la predicación valiente de los apóstoles. Y hoy, el Espíritu Santo sigue haciendo lo mismo: transformar corazones temerosos en testigos vivos del Evangelio.

Today we joyfully celebrate the First Communion of our children, a deeply meaningful moment in their journey of faith.

The Eucharist is not just a ritual, but a living encounter with Christ who becomes our nourishment. In every Mass, Jesus gives Himself, is broken, and shared, teaching us that true Christian life is built on love, service, and communion with others.

May this day not be only a beautiful memory, but the beginning of a constant relationship with the One who never ceases to walk with us. May each of these children continue to discover in the Eucharist the strength to live, love, and serve with a generous heart.

Let us continue walking together as a community, nourished by the same Bread of Life. 🙏✨

Hoy celebramos con alegría la Primera Comunión de nuestros niños, un momento profundamente significativo en su camino de fe.

La Eucaristía no es solo un rito, sino un encuentro vivo con Cristo que se hace alimento para nosotros. En cada Misa, Jesús se entrega, se parte y se comparte, enseñándonos que la verdadera vida cristiana se construye en el amor, en el servicio y en la comunión con los demás.

Por primera vez, se ha llevado a cabo la instalación de una lámpara eléctrica en la parte posterior del garaje de la parroquia. Esta medida responde a la necesidad de reforzar la iluminación en dicha área, donde se ha detectado la presencia ocasional de personas realizando consumo de dr**as.

Con esta acción, se busca mejorar la seguridad, el orden y la visibilidad en los alrededores, como parte del compromiso continuo por cuidar y resguardar las instalaciones parroquiales y el bienestar de toda la comunidad.

For the first time, an electric lamp has been installed in the rear area of the rectory garage. This measure responds to the need to strengthen lighting in that area, where the occasional presence of individuals engaging in drug use has been detected.

Through this action, the aim is to improve safety, order, and visibility in the surroundings, as part of the ongoing commitment to care for and safeguard the parish facilities and the well-being of the entire community.
