Colossians 1:9-12
For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you,
and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. Matthew 5:6
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled. Ephesians 4:15-16
but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. Psalms 1:1-3
Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. Philippians 1:6
being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Hebrews 10: 24-25
And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Proverbs 12:17
He who speaks truth declares righteousness, but a false witness, deceit.

NEW DOORS REQUIRE NEW KEYS
Prophetic Word by Elaine Tavolacci

Jesus asked His disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” They replied, some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” Then He asked them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Then as Jesus answered Peter, He was actually saying (paraphrased) Peter, you have received this answer not by natural knowledge but by revelation from My father in heaven and upon this rock (revelation) I will build My church, and the gates of hell (imprisonment from the enemy through the kingdom of darkness) will not prevail against it. Then Jesus went on to say; And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Jesus was speaking metaphorically of spiritual keys. He has given these keys to us, the body of Christ. He has given us authority in His name, power to bind the works of the devil, and loose people from bo***ge. He has given us keys to heal others from sickness, unshackle those who are bound, unlock and set people free from religious traditions and tear down strongholds. Keys are small and may seem insignificant but they could open huge doors. Small keys are used to open huge vaults that contains valuable possessions, but also lock them to keep thieves out. The apostle Paul said: For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries. We need new keys when the Lord opens new doors because the old keys will no longer fit.

The Lord says, I have given you the keys to My kingdom and the authority to use My name. These keys will unlock the doors and deliver people from every kind of bo***ge. These keys will unlock shackles, set people free from all demonic oppression and release many from every affliction and stronghold. These are the keys that will set the captives free who are addicted to alcohol, drugs and po*******hy. They are keys to open the tombs and deliver those who need to be set free from religious mindsets and those who are in bo***ge to religious rituals. They will open the prison doors and deliver those from occult practices, powers of darkness, and from all the power of the enemy. I have given you the keys that will open the portals of heaven and bring revelation. These keys will also release My Glory on this earth as it is in heaven.

These are keys to the Spiritual gifts which will be used in miracles, signs and wonders in a greater dimension than you have known before. These keys will unlock the door to your destiny and as you receive My gift of the keys to the Kingdom, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. I am releasing keys in prayer and intercession that will unlock the hidden mysteries of My word. I Am He who hold’s the Key of David. When I open a door no man can shut it and when I shut a door no man could open it. I will open the eyes of your understanding on a new level as I reveal the secrets of ancient mysteries. So come before Me and receive these keys which is your inheritance as a child of God as I release them into your hands; says the Lord.

Daniel 2:22
He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him.

Matthew 16:19
And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

1 Corinthians 16:9
For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.

SUBMITTED TO THE CALL
Prophetic Word by Elaine Tavolacci

The Lord says I am calling the men and the woman who are mature in their faith to teach, nurture and be mentor's to the younger ones. I am calling those of you who know Me, know My ways and have submitted your lives to the call. I am calling those of you to train, encourage and support those who are still on milk. I am looking for those of you who have been delivered from the strongholds of the enemy to strengthen the younger ones of the next generation. Those of you who understand the battle and are ready to serve on the front lines will be strong and do great exploits.

I am calling forth the Josephs who have been put down and abused by others but have not taken offense. They have been dishonored and falsely accused but have not let go of their dreams. I will raise them up and reveal My goodness through their lives. I will use them as signs and wonders to the nations. They will be leaders and they will prosper in times of famine and teach others to do the same.

I am calling forth the Moses to raise up Joshuas. To train men how to be strong and very courageous. To train them in leadership and how to be tenacious in spiritual warfare. To teach them how to be more than conqueror's in every battle. To encourage them to pursue My plan and calling on their lives and never retreat in fiery trials.

I am calling forth the Joshua and Caleb's. They are strong and very courageous and will be leaders in My great army. They are those who have a different spirit and know that they are more than able to go in and possess the land that I have promised to them. They will always come back with a good report and never back down from the enemy. They will go forth in the battle because they know their authority over the giants in the land.

I am calling forth the Naomi's to train up the young Ruth's. The godly women who will comfort and teach the younger woman how to live a lifestyle of integrity, sincerity and respect. To teach them how to walk in humility, wisdom and honor in their relationships.

I am raising up the Samuels. Those who are called to speak as My voice to this generation. They have been marked from a young age. They will recognize My voice and are called to be prophets to the nations. They will discern false teachings and false prophets. They will walk in a life of victory because they are Spirit led and not led by their own desires. They know how to enter into the Holy of Holies, and will teach others how to enter without guilt or shame. Since the veil has been torn, they will come into this higher dimension, and they will receive the fullness of what I have for them.

I am calling forth the Elijah's to train and raise up Elishas with a double portion of their spirit. To train the prophets and teach the younger ones how to be used in the gifts that I have freely given. To show them how to follow in their footsteps and be used in miracles, signs and wonders with respect and reverence of the anointing on their lives. They are those who follow Me closely and will not deviate off the narrow path.

I am calling the Marys. They are those who are highly favored and are carriers of My glory. They are those who have said in their hearts, “be it done unto me according to thy word”. They have abandoned their lives and are impregnated with My seed. They are those who are in labor and ready to conceive. They have been overshadowed with My glory and My word dwells in them. They will produce great things as they bring forth My promises to the ends of the earth. For with Me nothing shall be impossible in their lives.

I am calling forth the Paul's who once had a different name but has been transformed. They are those who have overcome many battles. They have been delivered from the powers of darkness and will go in and rescue others. Follow them, as they follow Me and are My witnesses on this earth. They will be used greatly in miracles, signs and wonders. They will train up the young Timothy's and teach them how to pray. They will teach them how to refrain from sinful ways, and walk in the fear and admonition of the Lord. They will teach them to be strong in what they believe, fan the flames and stir up the gifts that were given to them. They will warn them against false teachings and false prophets, and to always endure hardness as good soldiers. They will encourage them, and teach them not to be ashamed of the gospel.

As you lead these young lambs, teach them how to always walk in love and keep a good conscience. Advise them on righteousness and to have clean hands and a pure heart at all times. Be an example to do justly, love mercy and walk humbly with Me and let the Holy Spirit be your guide. I will give you the wisdom and knowledge that is required as you submit your lives to the call says the Lord.

Mark 16:17-18
And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.

Romans 8:19
For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.

Ephesians 4:11-13
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

You’re Not A Sinner
Amber Picota
Kingdom Bliss Ministries

Even if that statement bothers you, offends you, or even if you think I’m dead wrong…. I’d like for you to do me a favor….give me the benefit of the doubt…. I promise to try to clear up the confusion surrounding this topic… keep reading.

For every good thing the Father has to say about you, there is a lie that the enemy would love for you to believe instead. The thing at stake here is your IDENTITY. Will you accept who God says you are, or will you allow the accuser of the brethren (satan) to fool you into thinking you’re who he wants you to be.

A sin problem is really an identity problem.

Even in the very beginning of mankind, when Eve ate of the fruit of the tree of knowledge, the serpent (satan) told Eve that if she would eat of that fruit, she would be like God.

The problem with that is that Eve forgot the most foundational truth about her identity. It may well have been the only truth she knew about herself at the time, but she forgot, and chose to sin. The reason she sinned is she forgot that she was already like God.

She was made in His very likeness and image. She was already like God, her Creator.

Religion says, “If you live by the rules, THEN you’ll be righteous.”

The Gospel says, “You are clothed in the righteousness of Christ.”

What Jesus did for you was make you a new creation. He set you apart and made you holy. He clothed you in His own righteousness.

You can’t get any more righteous. You are set apart, holy and righteous the day you got saved. Not because of you. Because of Jesus.

2 Corinthians 5:21 God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

Romans 3:21-22 But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22 This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.

Here is some problematic thinking that I see a lot of:

“Identity is the sum total of all our actions. In other words you can take all the things a person may do on a regular basis, and keep track of them. Some things may rank over here as SUPER bad, but over here they did very good things, and that kind of made up for some of that stupid stuff. Somewhere here in the middle, that’s who they really are. Their identity depends on what they DO.”

Here’s why I find that a problem:

You’ll never be able to bear TRUE, lasting, consistent fruits of righteousness unless you FIRST believe that as a Christian, you have already been made righteous. (read Romans 3:21-22 again… “to all who believe”….)

In regards to teaching righteousness, I normally see one of two tactics in the church.

I see these, over and over again:

(A) an over emphasis on works, as if we are made righteous by doing all the right things, and I see a lot of
(B) condemnation… this normally looks like a person shaming another person on all the bad things that they’ve been doing, with a heavy emphasis on the importance to stop sinning.

BOTH OF WHICH ARE WRONG, AND WILL NOT PRODUCE TRUE FRUITS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. THIS WILL EITHER LEAD TO SHAME AND CONDEMNATION, OR BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION.

If leaders really want to help set people free from bad (sinful) behavior, it is counterproductive to identify that person by their bad (unrighteous) behavior.

Proverbs 23:7 For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.

Examples:

A kid who is acting awful in the store, whining and being very annoying. The exasperated mother exclaims to him, “You are such a brat!”

The wife who desperately wants some help with chores and household responsibilities, and so in frustration she yells at her husband, “You are so LAZY!”

Romans 4:16-18 Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring—not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all. As it is written: “I have made you a father of many nations.” He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believed—the God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not. Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.”

This is where the biggest frustration comes in for most people who feel trapped in a cycle of sin. They believe they are saved (most of the time), they love Jesus, go to church, read their Bible, but they have undesirable behaviors (sin), that they wish to be rid of.

An example of this could be someone addicted to p**n, or maybe what they are struggling with is something like lust, rejection or jealousy. Well in many case if these types of problems were brought to a pastor or church leader, the person struggling would either be led to get saved all over again “rededicating their life to Christ”, shamed for struggling in the first place, or in some cases they are just told that sin is just a part of the struggle of the Christian life, and that you’ll never quite over come it.

NONE OF THOSE ARE THE TRUTH.

Romans 6:14 For sin shall no longer be your master, because you are not under the law, but under grace.

If sin is no longer your master, why should Christians go around associating themselves with it by calling themselves sinners? The Bible doesn’t call us sinners, it calls us righteous.

Godly correction or accountability should be us telling each other, “Hey, that’s not who you really are. I see you doing this, but I think you’re really just scared. You’re letting fear make you forget that you’re a daughter of the Most High God. Don’t forget who you are.”

Here’s something I’ve run into over and over again. I start preaching freedom FROM sin, and people get these bewildered looks on their faces. Their gaze becomes shifty, and they look like I’ve said something heretical. The first thing out of their mouth is 1 John 1:8.

1 John 1:8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

It’s like their way of saying… “No, silly Amber. Nobody is without sin, and if you claim not to sin then you are deceived. YIKES! What a bold claim to make, based off one sentence in the Bible, pulled out of the chapter!

To that person I would say this: KEEP READING. FOR THE LOVE OF HUMANITY, KEEP READING.

I will do us all a favor by reading that passage in context, because it is SOOO self explanatory, and it doesn’t mean at all what those people thought it meant.

1 John 1:8-10 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar and His word is not in us.

You heard me…. keep reading. The original letters and scriptures did not have chapter breaks, the little verses numbered, or chapter titles. This was a letter that continued, even though when we read it in the English translations it’s tempting to stop here like the matter is settled, because of the chapter break. It’s really not, because he keeps talking in 1 John 2, because in this letter there is no chapter break.

1 John 2 My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

So the whole purpose of the letter is was so that they would NOT sin. You see, IF anyone sins, they have an advocate with the Father, which is Jesus Christ, who has already been the atoning sacrifice for not just our sins, but for the sins of the whole world.

I want you to hang on my every word here. This is so important. Don’t let anything distract you from the truth that God wants to use to show you your identity and freedom today.

2 Corinthians 5:14-21 For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. 15 And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again. 16 So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: 19 that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

I want to tell you a little story. It’s an analogy, and I didn’t come up with it myself. Originally I heard Jonathan Welton share this analogy, and I felt it so accurately represented this very issue.

Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Before you got saved, you were like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The story goes that Dr. Jekyll has these desires to do evil things, so he creates a potion that transforms him into a different looking person so that he can go out and do evil deeds, and then change back into his real self, Dr. Jekyll.

Many Christians would even be willing to say they can relate with that story in their own lives, and unfortunately there are many Christians that fully believe this is actually a very true depiction of life. Here’s a better analogy to describe to you what actually happens once you become saved:

One day, Jesus comes and knocks on the door of Dr. Jekyll’s (that’s you) house. Dr. Jekyll answers the door. “Hi Jesus. Nice to meet you. Please come in.We’d love to have you come in here and live with us.”

Jesus says, “Hang on Dr. Jekyll, I’ve got to take care of something first.”

Jesus snatches Mr. Hyde up, takes him down the road and to a hill called Mount Calvary, and Mr. Hyde is crucified with Christ.

Dead. Gone. Finished. The only person left alive is Dr. Jekyll and Jesus.

BUT…. Dr. Jekyll’s home is still full of Mr. Hyde’s stuff.

Mr. Hyde’s old Xbox games still line the shelves of the entertainment center, and so do his movies. The mp3 player still has Mr. Hyde’s playlists, and all over the walls are Mr. Hyde’s art.

Dr. Jekyll begins to clear Mr. Hyde’s stuff out. The first day, Dr. Jekyll calls one of those waste management companies to bring out a huge dumpster, and Dr. Jekyll fills it with round after round of Mr. Hyde’s stuff.

Dr. Jekyll has the dumpster hauled off, relieved that all that stuff is finally gone. He starts hanging his own beautiful art on the walls, and buying colorful new curtains for the walls. One day Dr. Jekyll heads to the attic to find a ladder, and he finds boxes of Mr. Hyde’s stuff. Mr. Hyde has been dead and gone for months now, but this box of his junk was in the attic all along. Dr. Jekyll gladly loads the boxes in the back of his pickup truck to drive it to the dump.

One day Dr. Jekyll is vacuuming and Jesus whispers, “Look under the bed.”

Dr. Jekyll looks under the bed to find some old magazines of Mr Hyde’s left there. Dr. Jekyll gets a trash bag and throws them away.

You see, Jesus doesn’t come in and sovereignly make all of Mr. Hyde’s stuff disappear. That would be a lot easier, but what He does do is partner with you.

He gives you the mind of Christ.

He gives you a heart of flesh to replace the heart of stone.

He says to you that your own righteousness was like filthy rags, which is why He wants to clothe you in His, so that you may reign in life (Romans 5:17)

You had a sin nature (Mr. Hyde), but now you’re a partaker of the divine nature.

You are empowered to clean Mr. Hyde’s stuff out of your own house.

Just because you find some of Mr. Hyde’s shirts in the closet doesn’t mean he’s still living there or that he has come back. Mr. Hyde is gone and you need to remind yourself of that.

You are not a sinner, just barely saved by grace.

You are a son. You are a daughter.

You are a king. You are a queen. You are a priest.

You are righteous co-heirs who rule and reign here with Christ.

You have power over sin, and you have self control, which is a fruit of the Spirit.

I believe in you.

Jesus believes in you.

Be blissed!

The Resurrection Life
Prophetic by Priscilla Van Sutphin

“I AM the Lord of life! The LORD of all life in heaven and on earth, and under the earth.

My word says that if the Spirit of Christ Jesus lives in you, that He Who raised Christ from the dead will give LIFE to your mortal body.

Jesus said, “I AM the Way, the Truth, and the LIFE! No one comes to The Father, except through Me!”

If you believe in Me and confess with your mouth that I AM Lord, then I live in you.

If I AM in you and for you then who can be against you and win?

My Way is the truth. My Way brings life.

When you profess Me as Lord and have believed in your heart, and surrender your heart to Me, all the promises in the Word are yours to receive.

So speak MY WORD and use it as your sword!

Put away all the doubt the enemy brings through suffering and sorrows, through rejections and trials and STAND on the secure foundation of My Word!

My word is life to your soul and strength to your bones.

Do not neglect it; hide it in your heart for in the days ahead they will take it away from you. Ponder My Word and ask Me what it means.

Know it because many now are twisting it to serve themselves!

Don’t believe every smooth word but test what is said by My Word and by coming to the Living Word.

Huddle up to Me and talk with Me!

Am I not Your Adonai?

Then come to Me!

Ask of me and I will give you NATIONS I HAVE SAID!

Unlike mankind, I MEAN WHAT I SAY!

My word does NOT return void!

But there have been generational obstructions handed down from one generation to another to keep you from the fullness of my love and power, but no longer.

For I AM the great deliver.

Many have not known or had the keys to freedom, or they’ve been taught wrong.

Just come to me and I will show you great and mighty things you do not know.”

Matthew 24

Then Jesus went out and departed from the temple, and His disciples came up to show Him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take anything out of his house. And let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes. But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! And pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened. “Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand. “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together. “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods. But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour that he is not aware of, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Matthew 24:1‭-‬51 NKJV

All of these things in Matthew 24 must come to pass and will come to pass.

Am I not the source of prophecy?

How mine it said the spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus?

So nothing said contrary to My Word is Truth if taken in proper application.

You need My Spirit to understand My words. You need My heart to apply it properly.

Be on guard and watch your heart that it trust in Me over man.

Do not give in to the fear of man. Ask me to fill you with the Spirit of Might!

Do not trust in your belongings or riches. Trust ME to provide what you need!

Why do you think I have shown you gold or manna falling in the church?

So that you would TRUST ME instead of worrying about being your own source!

I’ve tested many hearts and I’ve demonstrated my grace over and over that you would trust in Me because I AM your Resource!

THERE IS NOTHING I CAN’T DO OR PROVIDE!!

5 Characteristics of Bulldog Faith
Misty Robinson

Do you have bulldog faith? You can! Learn the 5 characteristics of bulldog faith and start pursuing what belongs to you today!

Bulldogs have a reputation. Sure, they have cute wrinkles on their foreheads, but it isn’t their appearance that draws the most attention. Bulldogs are a breed of remarkable ferocity, courage and tenacity of grip. They are stubbornly aggressive, persistent and determined. If something that belongs to you gets in a bulldog’s mouth—don’t plan on getting it back! He’ll hold on, lock down and stand his ground much longer than you’ll want to hang around. That’s tenacity!

As Christians, we need to be just like the bulldog when it comes to the promises of God. We need to have bulldog faith.

Why do we need bulldog faith?

We have an enemy who doesn’t want us to have what Jesus paid to restore to us. The devil knows we can have anything and everything we need and desire simply by having faith—so his plan is to drain, weaken and wear down our faith through continual pressure, disappointments and discouragement. He wants us to back down and give up. He wants us to live in a constant state of retreat. He wants us to lose.

If you’re fed up with the devil stealing your blessings, and you’re ready to claim what is rightfully yours in Christ, it’s time to develop these five characteristics of bulldog faith.

1. Bulldog Faith Is Aggressive

“The kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it.” –Matthew 11:12 (NIV-84)

Faith is more than believing. The very nature of faith is aggressive, persistent, determined, tenacious, confident and commanding. It is always moving forward and continually reaching for its goal. Faith is not passive, retreating or moving backward. Like a bulldog, it seizes with a grip that cannot be shaken off.

So, where is your faith today? Take a moment and consider the following.

Are you maintaining or pursuing?

Are you holding the fort or taking new ground?

Are you settled into the status quo or reaching up to the next level?

Are you throwing in the towel or going in for the next round?

Are you settled in to what you already have or aggressively possessing all that is rightfully yours?

God has given us everything by His grace, but we must take it forcefully with our faith. It won’t just fall into our laps. Just as you had to have faith to take salvation, you must also have faith to take every other blessing available to you as a child of God. But, you’re going to have to be willing to fight for it.

Why is faith a fight?

When we “fight the good fight of faith” (1 Timothy 6:12, KJV), the Greek translation describes this as fierce combat with an adversary. If a parent hands his child lunch money, it is a gift meant for that child. On the way to school, the boy may face adversaries who want to take the gift from him. He will have to fight to keep it! The same is true with the blessings of God. He has freely given them, but we have an adversary who wants to take them from us.

That’s why you need to seize your blessing with a grip that can’t be shaken off. Weak faith isn’t going to produce. That’s why Gloria Copeland says, “If you let it go, it’s gone. If you don’t let it go, it’s still operating.”

In other words, aggressive faith doesn’t draw back. Hebrews 10:38-39 (KJV) says, “If any man draw back, My soul shall have no pleasure in him.” Does that mean God doesn’t like you if you draw back? No. It means it is His pleasure for you to have what He’s promised you, and when you draw back, He knows you are drawing away from THE BLESSING.

That’s why you need aggressive, bulldog faith. The kind of faith that is never passive. Don’t ever let the devil catch you being passive!

There was a time when Brother Copeland’s mom needed to get the devil out of a situation in her life. When he told her to take authority, she gently and quietly said, “Now Satan, now in the Name of Jesus….” He stopped her and said, “Mama, if a big, muddy sow came walking through the back door of your spotlessly mopped and clean house, what would you say?” She said she would chase him out swinging a broom! Then he said, “Mama, there’s something a whole lot more dangerous than a sow hog that has come into this place.” That’s when she got aggressive in kicking the devil out of her territory—God’s territory.

You can’t afford to be passive about anything where the curse is concerned. You can’t afford to be passive about the Word, you can’t afford to be passive about any attack in your life. No. It is time to take up arms and fight the good fight of faith—aggressively!

2. Bulldog Faith Bites Down and Won’t Let Go

“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering.”
Hebrews 10:23 (KJV)

If you take a good look at the face of a bulldog, you’ll notice his jaw protrudes, while his nose is indented. This allows him to bite down and hold on to something almost indefinitely. Bulldogs are stubborn—refusing to let go once they’ve locked on. You can try to pull something out of a bulldog’s mouth, but it won’t let go. It will not give up.

That is a picture of you as a believer!

You have to bite down on the Word of God—who you are, what you have and what you can do. The devil will try to take it from you, but don’t give up, don’t quit. Be a bulldog where the Word of God is concerned.

The Bible is full of examples of bulldog faith. In Luke 18, Jesus shares a parable that illustrates this type of faith in the persistent widow. She needed justice from a judge, so she pursued it relentlessly, and she did not stop until she got what she wanted. She refused to give up; and she tenaciously, stubbornly and persistently kept coming and would not quit.

That’s how you need to be in your faith. Don’t let go of your dream. Don’t let go of your passion. Don’t let go of your faith. Don’t let go of your hope for restored family relationships, your dream home, your dream job, healing and freedom from debt. Don’t let go!

How do you not let go?

Keep talking it. Keep speaking it. Keep believing it. Keep it in front of you. Develop your ability to see things that be not as though they were. And don’t let situations put constant pressure on you—you keep the pressure on your situation.

It takes aggressive action to get aggressive results. But, in due time—you will reap. You’ll see it come in. You’ll see it become reality. It will manifest.

Bite down on the Word like a bulldog, and don’t let go until it is yours.

3. Bulldog Faith Never Takes No for an Answer

“This is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” –John 5:4 (NKJV)

The doctor says, “No, you won’t get better. No, you won’t walk again. No, you can’t have a baby.” Your employer says, “No, you can’t have a raise, and no, we don’t have room for promotion here.” The world says, “No, you can’t enjoy that kind of prosperity without the right degree or climbing the ladder for 30 years.” But what do you say? What does God say?

Every opportunity before you is an opportunity for either faith or failure—the choice is yours.

In the book of Mark, blind Bartimaeus chose faith and persisted until he got his healing:

When Bartimaeus heard that Jesus of Nazareth was nearby, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” “Be quiet!” many of the people yelled at him. But he only shouted louder, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
(Mark 10:47-48).

The world was telling him to be quiet and stop claiming what belonged to him, but he wouldn’t take no for an answer.

The result?

“What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked, “My Rabbi,” the blind man said, “I want to see!” And Jesus said to him, “Go, for your faith has healed you.” Instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus down the road
(v. 51-52).

He was fed up with being blind. He got persistent with his faith, and he wouldn’t take no for an answer.

The persistent widow and Bartimaeus both applied nonstop, constant, continual, steady, relentless pressure on their covenant and on the devil. They did not let go, and they got what they were after. So can you.

Don’t let what others say or the passing of time affect your faith. Bulldog faith never quits. Bulldog faith says, “God’s Word is mine now. Devil, you can’t take it from me. Just be assured—when this is over, I win!”

4. Bulldog Faith Is Fully Persuaded

“And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.” –Romans 4:21 (KJV)

At 100 years old, you would have to be fully persuaded to believe you would be the father of many nations! And that’s exactly what Abraham was—fully persuaded.

What does that mean?

Fully persuaded doesn’t mean hoping something is true, wishing to believe it’s true, or liking the idea. It doesn’t even mean thinking it could probably happen. No. Being fully persuaded means you are completely convinced, without a doubt, that what God has said will absolutely come to pass.

How did Abraham stay fully persuaded in spite of an impossible situation? He focused on God’s Word and refused to pay attention to natural circumstances. He wouldn’t allow himself to waver, hesitate or doubt. He didn’t flip-flop back and forth from faith to fear. He stood firm.

You can develop the same kind of fully persuaded “bulldog faith.” Start by confessing the following:

“I heartily agree with everything God has said about me in His Word.”

“I heartily agree with God’s Word that I am healed.”

“I heartily agree with God’s Word that I am prosperous.”

“I heartily agree with God’s Word that I am redeemed.”

When you become completely confident, you will dare to believe God instead of natural circumstances. You will come to expect those promises to come to pass in your life. You can walk in the same fully persuaded “bulldog faith” that Abraham did and receive your promise, just as he did.

5. Bulldog Faith Takes It

“How long are you going to sit around on your hands, putting off taking possession of the land that God…has given you?” –Joshua 18:3 (MSG)

How long have you been waiting for a promise to manifest in your life? Those promises already belong to you (Ephesians 1:3), just like the Promised Land already belonged to the Israelites. All they had to do was take it. But they let fear stop them and cause them to postpone and put off taking what was rightfully theirs.

Bulldog faith doesn’t waste time. Bulldog faith takes it.

Second Peter 1:3-4 says, “His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness. Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises…” (NIV-84).

Whatever you need already belongs to you. How long are you going to wait to possess it?

You can claim what is yours—NOW!

How do you possess your land? You claim it by faith! For example, if you need financial provision, take these steps:

Say, “I claim the money I need as a child of God, according to His promises.”

Say, “Satan, take your hands off my money.”

Say, “Ministering spirits, go, and cause the money to come.”

Bulldog faith commands what rightfully belongs to you to come to you. It calls into existence the things that do not exist.

Bulldog faith commands things desired from out of the spirit realm into the natural realm. That’s exactly what the centurion did in Matthew 8:8-10. He said, “Speak the word only, and my servant will be healed” (KJV). In other words, he was telling Jesus, “Your Word is the only evidence I need.” Jesus took notice of this kind of faith. The greatest faith is faith in God’s Word and its authority alone, not demanding any physical evidence.

Bulldog faith is not afraid to put pressure on the Word by making a faith demand on your covenant and expecting what is already yours. God will always supply as long as there is a demand.

“Take it when you pray! Then you can drive it, live in it and spend it.” –Gloria Copeland

When you get aggressive, bite down on the Word of God, refuse to take no for an answer, and are fully persuaded when you take it, you will develop a bulldog faith that will defeat the enemy every time. You will reap a harvest if you don’t let go of your bulldog faith. You can live and walk in everything God’s covenant promises—just don’t let go!
