HIS Pantry at SHSF

HIS Pantry at SHSF HIS Pantry is a ministry, of Sacred Heart St Francis de Sales parish, that serves locally those in need of supplemental food.

We help to provide basic necessities for nutritional food options:
cereal, tuna, peanut butter, canned fruit, pasta & sauce, rice, mac & cheese, canned veggies, soup, baked beans, canned meals

We also try to provide fresh produce options, along with breads, yogurts, & cheese. We have personal hygiene items, if they get donated. These could include soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrus

h, dental floss, toilet paper, paper towels, facial tissues, laundry detergent, fabric softener, & dish detergent. Due to our demand, we ask that families only come 1 time per month, so we are able to serve all in need.

REDUCED HOURS ON CHRISTMAS EVE

Please note that we will only be open today, 12/24, from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, in order for our volunteers to spend time with their families on Christmas Eve.

We will be open regular hours on Friday, 12/26: 10:00 am - 11:30 am.

Food pantries at Sacred Heart of St. Francis and St. John the Baptist churches will share in revenue from sales of gift baskets on Sunday May 18 at St. John's. Bath and Body Works products and other items for women, men and children will be available for purchase after the 10:00 am Mass at St. John's. His Pantry is very grateful to have received a generous grant from the Stewart’s Holiday Match Grant program. With these funds we have been able to offer a wonderful assortment of holiday hams and other meat options plus fresh butter this past week and into the rest of the month. Stewart’s Shops matches customer donations from Thanksgiving to Christmas every year, and then donates these funds to local organizations serving children and families in need. Please support Stewart's Shops in Bennington and local vicinities for their great products and for their care in the welfare of our communities.
