Well, a successful trip to Henderson Settlement in the books. We had a wonderful devotional this morning and met some new friends from Indiana, Ohio and Champaign Illinois. We were so grateful (which was the devotional message) for the group from Indiana (who gave the message) who helped unload all the food.

We unloaded 570 bottles of oil, 570 bags of sugar and 570 bags of flour. 6500 lbs of necessities that the good people of Appalachia struggle to get their hands on. All thanks to you who donated and allowed it to happen.

We made another stop at Buc-ee’s for gas and tried their 3 meat sandwiches. Yummy!! The Buc-ee chips were pretty delicious too. And we had a special cameo from the “Weenie Mobile!”

Thank you for all for teaming up with us to help those in need. Thank you for allowing us to visit this beautiful place twice a year. Please continue to pray for our little group of wanna be carpenters.

We will be cooking pork chops and pork burgers in Staunton April 25th @ Mayfield’s. Come see us and get some lunch.

Over the last few years a new stop had been added to trip.

«Alumni Alert»

Mr. David Roth was in the neighborhood looking at mowers. The neighbor noticed his shirt and pointed at my house. So good to see such a wonderful friend. Say “HI” team!

Hello friends and family of 2:18 Missions Team. As we come to the last week of our annual Spring Food Drive, all of us on the team would like to give everyone who has supported our mission work in any way (with prayer, monetary donations or by joining us on a project) a HUGE THANK YOU!!! It is your continued support that allows us to bring so many in need, the ability to live a little more comfortably by simply giving them staples that they struggle to obtain on their own. The flour, sugar and oil staples we provide may seem so menial to some but to the people of the Henderson settlement and surrounding communities these staples will bring joy and hope to many families.

So with this said your donation is greatly appreciated and there is no amount too small or too great. You will find links above to donate to or you may contact any team member if you would like to make a donation. Please help us to continue showing Gods light!!! Thank you again and God bless to all!!!!

God is good, all the time!!!

Blessed beyond measure to be able to do this for the community. We finished this project today, and the homeowner was excited to be able to get in and out of their house safely. Thank you to everyone that supports the mission.

We are just the hands that put the ramp and porch together. Someday, they will be gone or need replaced, but we can all go on knowing that the love of our Lord and Savior never goes away and is infinite.

If you know someone that could use a ramp, please contact us.

All the time, God is good!!!
