Sending Out the Twelve
5 These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: “Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give."
Wildfire Bay Area Deliverance & Healing
Gods plan for Wildfire Bay Area is to equip the children of God with the whole armor of God described in Ephesians 6:11 so that people not only get delivered and healed but also will be able to resist the devil so that it will flee.
Many of us become Christians and are not equipped with the battle gear we need to fight the good fight of faith so that we won't backslide. We simply become saved and then what? Why is it our lives become harder than ever now that we are followers of Christ?
Honestly, you become a target of the enemy. They are not really after the ones who already joined forces with them, they are specially after the ones who decide to get out of their stronghold and into the Kingdom of God because the new Christian is now a threat to their Kingdom of darkness. The new Christian is now a threat to the demonic. Because of us, the kingdom of darkness loses men. The enemy knows that and YOU need to know that as well.
If we truly believe that we war against rulers and principalities that cannot be seen, then we must realize that their mandate is to hinder any believer who is seeking to walk in the fullness of God. However, "greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world" (1 John. 4:4)
Ephesians 6:11-13
11 Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil. 12 For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms [principalities], against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere. 13 Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].
Paul did not just write about the armor of God; he also wore it. It is time for you to know how to put on the armor of God and to keep it on!
Ephesians 6:14
Stand therefore hold your ground,having tightened the belt of truth around your LOINS...
Truth: The truth of the gospel is our identity, authority and power in Jesus Christ.
Belt of truth around your Loins: Loins is also used as a term for the general lower area of the body much like the term "below the belt" references the area below where the average person would wear a belt. The term "gird one's loins" was used in the Roman Era meaning to pull up and tie one's lower garments between one's legs to increase one's mobility in battle. In the modern age, it has become an idiom meaning to prepare oneself for the worst.
Revelation: The loins area of the human body is tender, soft and can easily get injured. It is the part of our body that can get wounded very easily. Paul said to put on the belt of truth around your loins. When you know the truth around your loins. When you know the real truth of the gospel, when you know the real truth about who you are in Christ, when you know the real truth about the authority and power that has been given to those who are born again (saved) then in knowing that truth will serve as a belt that will guard the soft and tender part of you. You have now just put on your "belt of truth around your loins".
What is the the truth?
John 8: 32 And you will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free.
John 14: 6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.
Romans 5:8, But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
John 17:23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
John 1: 17 For while the Law was given through Moses, grace (unearned, undeserved favor and spiritual blessing) and truth came through Jesus Christ.
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

Psalm 86: 11 Teach me Your way, O Lord, that I may walk and live in Your truth; direct and unite my heart [solely, reverently] to fear and honor Your name.
Ephesians 6:14 ..and having put on the BREASTPLATE of integrity and moral rectitude and right standing with God,
Integrity: The "integrity and moral rectitude and right standing with God" is our righteousness. Romans 5:1 says, "Therefore, since we have been made right in God's sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us."
Breastplate of Righteousness: A breastplate is a device worn over the torso to protect it from injury. It protected the vital organs without limiting mobility.
Revelation: The breast is where our heart is located in the body. The heart is part of our soul man. We, human beings, are made up of 3 parts. Spirit, soul and body. The soul is made of up the mind, will and emotions. Our emotions come from our hearts. It is very important to know, that we know, that we know, we are the righteousness of God. It serves as a mighty breastplate to guard our heart, which is part of our soul. When our heart gets wounded it is because you do not yet know who you are. You are not secure in who you are. 1 Corithians 5:21 says, For God has made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" When this Word of God becomes who you are then you have just put on your "breastplate of righteousness" securely.
How can I become righteous in God's eyes?
1 Thessalonians 5:23 says, "And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ."
Rom. 10:3,4 …they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
2 Timothy 2:22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
Romans 10:1-3 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
Mathew 22:11-13 But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there a man who had no wedding garment. And he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. Genesis 6:9 Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God.
1 Peter 3:12 Because the eyes of THE LORD JEHOVAH are upon the righteous and his ears hear them; the face of the Lord is against the evil.
Ephesians 6:15
And having shod your feet in the preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace.
Gospel of peace: The Gospel is termed the Gospel of peace, because it establishes peace between God and man, and proclaims peace and good will to the universe. Contentions, strife, quarrels, and all wars, being as alien from its nature and design, as they are opposed to the nature of Him who is love and compassion to man.
Shod your feet in the preparation of the Gospel of peace: "Shod your feet" means to cover your feet with a specific kind of shoe. One of the last things you want to deal with in the middle of a fight is worrying about where you step. Feet serves to support the entire body and keep it upright. The foot is to the body what the will is to the soul. We go wherever our will takes us. Preparation, the Christian's spiritual readiness, is our feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. The word "preparation" means properly readiness, fitness for, alacrity; and the idea is that they were to be ever ready to go forth to peach the gospel.
Revelation: Shoes allow us to step freely and without fear while we turn our full attention to the battle at hand. Paul did not just write about the armor of God; he also wore it. At this time in his life he was able to call upon the shoes of the preparation of the gospel of peace. He found protection and strength in the knowledge of what God's gospel meant for him and for the others he shared that good news with. His footing was sure and unshakable, and he was prepared to carry the gospel wherever God sent him. This spiritual shoe is something to aid our movement. This piece of armor is to aid our movement and defense and not our appearance.
What is the Gospel of peace?
Isaiah 52:7 Isaiah reads in it's entirety: "How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, Your God reigns!"
Ephesians 6:16
Lift up over all the [coverelmet of sing] shield of faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the the wicked [one].
Faith: Faith is a heart that believes in God and believes every Word of God. Anything that comes by force is not faith. There must be works to our faith. Our works completes our faith.
Shield of Faith: A shield is a type of personal armor, meant to intercept attacks, either by stopping projectiles or redirecting a hit. The shield can cover the entire body or just an area. The size of your shield depends on how much faith you have.
Revelation: To "quench (extinguish or put out) all the flaming missiles of the wicked one" we have to have faith in God. We have to have faith in the Word of God in the bible. Believe in the whole bible. We have to believe to a point where when a situation comes along where faith will be tested we will be at rest. This kind of rest is very real, genuine, and natural. If we force ourselves to believe something then it is not faith. When we believe spontaneously then that is faith. If you have taken God's Word to heart then you can act it. Our faith in God and His Word will and can cover our entire body from any attack of the enemy.
How can I have faith?
Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering said to them, Have faith in God.
Ephesians 6:17
And take the helmet of salvation...
Salvation: Salvation is deliverance from sin and its consequences and preservation or deliverance from harm, ruin, or loss. Jesus is our salvation: “… You shall call his name JESUS; for he shall save his people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21).
Helmet of Salvation: A helmet is a form of protective gear worn on the head to protect it from injuries. The helmet of salvation covers the mind. Our minds and emotions are the main battlegrounds where the enemy tries to render us ineffective and thereby defeat us. If he can get us to think things that are not truth, he can keep us from establishing God’s Kingdom on earth.
Revelation: When we have Jesus, our helmet of salvation, firmly in place, we are immune to the devil’s doubt and fear tactics. We trust and are not afraid. Trust and the determination not to fear take a conscious effort on our part. We cannot simply expect Jesus to do it all for us without our cooperation, but it is Jesus our Salvation Who makes it possible for us to repel the enemy’s attacks on our minds, through the use of His Name. “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). The believer’s other role in maintaining victory in his mind is to constantly fill it with the Word of God. We
Acts 16:29-31 29 Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
31 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
Ephesians 6:17 ..and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God.
The Word of God: The Word of God is what is written in the bible in revelations through chosen people. We are to read the Word of God so that we can become the Word of God.
Sword of the Spirit: A sword is a bladed weapon (edged weapon) used primarily for cutting or thrusting. It is a spiritual sword that we use in the spiritual battles. A sword is an unmistakable weapon of offence. No doubt that it can also be used as a tool for defence. This however is no ordinary sword. Our spirit is instantly reborn and made new the moment we accept Christ, but the soul is not born again. Our souls are transformed by the renewing of our minds.
Revelation: The sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. The Word of God is our sword that we can use in spiritual battles. The more you know and have faith in the Word of God the sharper your sword gets. Hebrews 4:12 says, "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart". The sword of the spirit is the Word of God spoken with the power of the Holy Spirit. Strongholds, arguments and thoughts are all darts that the enemy uses against us. The Sword of the Spirit is equipped to deal with them all. The soul of the Christian is of principal interest to satan. He will use thoughts and arguments to distract us from our faith. One of the greatest battles ever fought is recorded in Luke Chapter 4 - the three temptations that satan brought to Jesus. Jesus overcame by the sword of the Spirit.
What is the Word of God?
John 1:1-2 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 10:30 - I and [my] Father are one.
Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Ephesians 6:18 Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty [an earnest or humble request]. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God's consecrated people).
1 Corinthians 16:13-14 (NKJV)
Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love.
