As Paul to Timothy 2 Timothy 4:6-7 "For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race; I have kept the faith." Paul to Timothy "Carry it on!" As Pastor of Wenksville United Methodist Church, Bendersville United Methodist Church, Mt Calvary, Mt Tabor UMC's, (Just like previous Churches), the results of ministry as Pastor are joyful, fulfilling, a wander, a thrill, a challenge, a blessing to preach, lead and visit 150-200 people per year (pray with people). I am who I am and conservative and evangelical -- it's become clear, the time is now to follow my Call to preach at Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church in Harrisburg. Everything United Methodist will conclude with me July 25, 2024, so that I can preach at Trinity E.C.C. July 28, 2024. I will withdraw and surrender my credentials. The move will happen also on Thursday, July 25, 2024. My last Sunday sermon and service will be Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Wenksville United Methodist Church and Bendersville United Methodist Church. I will be praying for the transitioning everywhere in my life and the life of these churches. No pastoral care will happen after July 25, 2024.

Happy Happy 4th of July! May the Fourth be with you! Sunday, July 7th is a Patriotic Themed Sunday, so wear Red, White or Blue! I will visit all 5 services between 8am and 11:30 a.m.

I'm back from vacation! Full swing ahead July 1, 2024! Wenksville United Methodist Church and Bendersville United Methodist Church. The beach was great! A stay at home vacation was great! Celebrating a 50th Birthday with parties with church & family was great! And also getting ready to celebrate the 4th of July with a family picnic! Keep in mind the church needs you and you need the church. Things are better in person in worship than just online.

8 We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. 9 So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
