June 8, 2026: Thank you to our visitors at church yesterday! We also enjoyed a wonderful lunch together after services. Congratulations to Clint W. for receiving a commendation from the US Navy as the Bluejacket of the Quarter! Congratulations to Stuart and Elisa L. and their kids on being able to purchase a home in Houston! We praise God for Linda W. getting good reports from her doctor visits. We also praise God for Renee B. having a successful surgery. Please continue to pray for them (and for Renee's husband, Skip who is having treatment consultation this week). We are praising God that Roberta L. is doing better. Please continue to keep Loy E. in your prayers (he is in the Hartville Care Center), also pray for his daughter, Debbie L. who had to be admitted to Cox South last week and is still recovering from her recent health situation. June 1, 2026: Thank you to our visitors at services yesterday! Next Sunday we will be enjoying lunch together after services. Please plan on coming and eating with us. We were sorry to learn of the passing of brother Irvin Barnes last week. He preached at the Bendavis church several times throughout the years. Please keep his family in your prayers. We are glad to report the Roberta L. is doing better but need to continue to keep her in our prayers. Also, Debbie L. is improving and hopefully will be moving to CoxHealth Rehabilitation today. Please continue to pray for her. Linda W. is scheduled to meet with two doctors this week in Branson. Pray for her as well as her sister, Renee B. and Skip. God bless!

May 25, 2026: Happy Memorial Day! We want to take this time to remember and thank those who gave their lives in service to our country. Prayers for safe travel for all of those on the road during the holiday. Congratulations to Ethan and Clare W. on their first anniversary! This week please pray for Tim P. and his young son who were killed in an accident last week. Also, pray for Debbie L. (still in Specialty Rehabilitation Hospital in Springfield); Loy E. (Hartville Care Center); the family of Charlie D. who passed away last week (Charlie's visitation is 5-7 Tuesday at Little Creek Baptist and his funeral is Wednesday at 1:00, also at Little Creek); Linda W. (procedure last week and upcoming doctor consultations); Ed W. (follow-up with orthopedic doctor Friday); Renee and Skip B. (continued healing for both); Karen W. (recovery from recent surgery); and Gary S. (not feeling well). God bless!

(Arlene W.s great-granddaughter) and Jacob M. who both graduated from high school and Allie M. who graduated from SBU! This week please pray for Renee B. (upcoming surgery possible); Debbie L. (recovery at Select Rehabilitation in Springfield); Marcia F. (continued recovery); Roberta L. (continued recovery at home); Loy E. (in Hartville Care Center); the Sutherland and Ellis families who have lost loved ones recently; Karen W. (recovery from recent surgery); and J.D. Grissom and Grant S. (from the Ava congregation who have both been placed on hospice care). God bless!

May 11, 2026 update: We received word of the passing of brother Wayne Sutherland, long time member of the Mountain Grove congregation. His services are on Friday at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home in Mountain Grove. Visitation is from 1-2 p.m. and the funeral is set for 2:00 p.m. Please pray for the family.

May 5, 2026 update: Here are some of the details for the services for Ben Ellis. There will be a dinner at Fairview Church on Wednesday at 2:00 for the family but they have invited everyone from the Bendavis church to come. If you have a chance to bring a side dish that would be helpful, but not necessary. On Thursday there will be a memorial service for Ben at Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home in Mountain Grove at 6:00. Please continue to keep the Ellis family in your prayers. God bless!

May 4, 2026: We had a nice crowd at church and a good lunch together after services yesterday. We received word of the passing of Ben Ellis. Please keep Tommy and Leota and the rest of the family in your prayers. We will update with information about services for Ben when it becomes available. We are happy to learn that Randy L. was able to leave the hospital last week and that his wife, Debbie although she is still in ICU is making a good recovery. Please keep both of them in your prayers. We also want to continue to pray for Loy E. (in the Hartville Care Center), Roberta L. (recovering at home), Linda W. and her sister, Renee B. (continued healing). We send congratulations to Markea R. (Louise's grand-daughter), and Jake Meglan (Jake and Verna's great-grandson), on their graduation from high school, and also Allie Meglan (on her graduation from SBU. God bless!
