Congratulations to Preston Ellis who was selected as the Children's pastor at Southern Heights Christian Church in Lebanon! This week please pray for Elisa L. (still having a lot of pain); Marcia F. (still in hospital in KC recovering from surgery and a broken back); Wyn B. (formerly from Houston, now living in WV, health concerns); Loy E. and Frances S. (in Hartville Care Center). August 24, 2026: Thank you to our visitors at services yesterday! Congratulations to Clint Williamson on his acceptance to Lincoln Seminary at Ozark Christian College. Clint is working on an M.Div. degree. Please pray for all of the students who are heading back to school, along with their teachers, administrators and support staff. We also need to be praying for rain! This week continue to pray for Loy E. and Frances S. (in Hartville Care Center); Marcia F. (from Kansas City, recovering from surgery and a broken back); Roger H. (from Houston, still in the Springfield hospital); Lisa G. (continued recovery from surgery), and Elisa and Carver L. (not feeling well). God bless!

August 20, 2026 update: We just received word that Marcia Fritz from Kansas City had emergency intestinal surgery today and also was diagnosed with a broken back. Please keep her and her family in your prayers. God bless!

(waiting on scan results); and Loy E. and Frances S. (in Hartville Care Center). God bless!

August 10, 2026: Thank you to Stuart Lybyer for being our guest speaker yesterday! Thank you also to all of our visitors at services yesterday! Next Sunday our guest speaker will be Scotty Wood from West Plains. Come and hear what he has to say. Ed W. returned safely home from Paris, KY where he attended the 225th anniversary celebration of the Cane Ridge revival at the Cane Ridge Meeting House. Congratulations to Rayley S. on her recent wedding! We praise God for Evelyn S.'s successful procedure and for Lisa G.'s successful operation. Please continue to pray for them as well as for Scotty B. and Renee (he recently had surgery); Elisa L. (still waiting on appointments with doctors and for some scans that she needs); Steve L. (his vehicle was hit by another car in Houston last week, he is alright); Gary S. (ultrasound today); Stuart L.'s family (his uncle Larry passed away in Ava today). God bless!

July 27, 2026: We will have lunch together after services this Sunday. Please come and join us! The ladies' get together planned for Tuesday has been cancelled due to the heat. This week please pray for the families of Tammy B., Diane H. and Rick G. who all passed away last week. Also pray for Louise R. (she hit an antelope in Wyoming and totaled her vehicle, also bruised up a bit); Skip B. (surgery this week); Lisa G. (upcoming surgery); Loy E. and Frances S. (in Hartville Care Center); Elisa L. (still waiting on a diagnosis and treatment plan); Ed W. (begins physical therapy this week); Maxine G. (Lisa B.'s mother, Lisa is Ed and Beth's sister in law, Maxine is on hospice); and Evelyn S. (upcoming procedure in Springfield on the 5th). Please also pray for all the farmers and their animals who are suffering from the heat. God bless!

(friend of Virginia D., she had surgery in Springfield last week); Loy E. (in Hartville Care Center); Karma M. (outpatient surgery today); the folks in southeastern Missouri who have suffered so much damage in the floods; Elisa L. (ER visit in Rolla yesterday, referral to primary care and a couple of specialists); the family of Jonathan (J.D.) Grissom in Ava who passed away last week. A private family burial is planned for later this summer. God bless!
