(2 Peter 1:5-7) "Make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, virtue with knowledge, knowledge with self-control, self-control with endurance, endurance with devotion, devotion with mutual affection, mutual affection with love."

Faith alone is like white rice without a juicy, tender, succulent, roasted chicken, creamy melted cheddar cheese, and savory spices. Add virtue, mutual affection, and love to your faith and faith becomes a spiritual food that deliciously nourishes our souls and the souls of all those who dine with us.
