Pastor Mark’s nephew, age 36, is in the hospital in Lubbock, TX. His younger brother is trying to time the right time to go and see him. He was care flighted this week from NM to this hospital. He had a stroke and two aneurisms. One of them burst and they were able to stop the bleeding (they think). They said he shouldn’t be alive. The second one, they could not put in anything but a screw. He has some issues from being retired military and has a lot of stress. They are trying to control his stress and BP and see what is going on. There seems to be more bleeding and he is having more tests today to see where it is coming from. We ask for your prayers for peace for his brother’s family until they can get there. We also ask for prayers for our nephew. His name is Hugh. We call him Scooter.

Also, update on Annetta’s sister, Gayla for those of you who have been praying for her. I shared this in church recently. A few weeks ago, she woke up extremely dizzy and unable to hear out of her right ear. She has seen several doctors including a neurosurgeon and it appears that she has most likely lost the hearing for good. They are saying some unknown virus caused it. There is a possibility with time it could return partially or completely but the odds are not good. The also discovered a benign tumor in her brain, unrelated. They will watch it for now and don’t see it to be a problem. We ask for continued prayers as she is undergoing therapy to reset the crystals in her ear to hopefully fix the dizziness.
