Memorial Service for Mary Ballard

Please join the family to honor the life of Mary Ballard, a beloved retired teacher from Beltsville Adventist School. Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th at 4pm at the Beltsville SDA Church.

Mary faithfully served our school, church and community for decades as a devoted teacher and friend. Her love, faith, and legacy have touched generations. We welcome all who knew her to come and celebrate her life together.

Please continue to lift the Ballard family up in prayer.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Mary Ballard, a teacher who ministered for more than 30 years at Beltsville Adventist School. Mary passed away peacefully on Tuesday, surrounded by her family and close friends.

Mary's ministry of teaching touched generations of students. She was known for her sense of humor, bright smile, kindness, and compassion. Former students remember her making lentil soup with her class, having an end of year beach party in her classroom, organizing a teddy bear picnic with kindergarten buddies, making hot cross buns at Easter and so much more.... Mrs. Ballard will long be remembered. The life lessons she taught live on in her students. In honor of Mrs. Ballard, we invite you to pass on her kindness, patience and infectious smile until the day we all meet again.

Beltsville Adventist School extends our heartfelt condolences to her husband Tom, daughter Kelly and the whole Ballard family. Please lift them in prayer during this difficult time.

Our staff and students love Pastor Krysten Thomas!

Our church and pastoral staff are incredibly proud of our children’s & youth pastor, Pastor Krysten Thomas. Today she is presenting at eHuddle, an annual meeting for pastoral vision, and leadership evangelism teams across North American Division.

She will be sharing her passion to disciple young people by empowering them to be followers of Jesus and lead others to Him. May God continue to bless her leadership to make disciples of our younger generation. Here is the link where you can see more!
