This Christmas, teach your child about Jesus.
Tell them that the Christmas tree points to the cross.
The tree where Jesus gave His life,
because He loved us first.
Tell them the lights remind us
that hope came through sacrifice.
That the cross looked like defeat,
but it became the greatest victory.
Show them that the wreath is not just something pretty on the door,
but a reminder of the crown of thorns.
A painful crown placed on Jesus’ head,
so we could wear grace instead.
Point to the gifts under the tree.
Tell them that Jesus is the greatest gift of all.
This Christmas, let your child see
that the story began with the greatest Present we could receive.. Jesus, our Savior.
Because when they grow older,
they won’t just remember Christmas as something we celebrate ..
they will know why we do. 🎄🙌🏻🤍
