On December 1st, we began our month long celebration of the Christ Child's Birth as part of our Advent Sunday Services at Oak Hill. We lit the first Prophet Candle in the Advent Wreath, decorated and lit the Chrismon Tree, decorated the altar with Hanging of the Greens, sang songs of Joy & Peace, and heard of the prophecies that foretold our Savior's birth.
Join us this Sunday as we continue this Joyous Celebration with the lighting of the second candle of Advent called the Bethlehem Candle. Help us prepare for the First & Second Coming of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

Special Thanks go to Oak Hill UMC member Gary Davis for his dedication and efforts in coordinating our Christmas Display in Williamston this past year. His hard work was rewarded by the City as a Display Winner for Best Organization. We are proud of our Church and our Church family. Please come visit us soon.

Join us as we take this 90 mile Christmas Journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem, recreating the trip Joseph and Mary took over 2000 years ago. Our Guardian Angel will guide the children along the way through the cold, dark, dangerous land to arrive just to find no place to stay but a lowly stable. Away in a manger no crib for a bed, the little Lord Jesus laid down His sweet head.
Let us all remember this Blessed Birth and the reason for this season.

Celebrating the Joy of Christmas! Had a wonderful time ringing in the Reason for the Season at the Opening of The Christmas Park in Williamston last Night. Special Thanks to Gary Davis and his daughter Amy for creating the Oak Hill UMC display and the adults and children of the Church for participating at the event.
