Dear Parishioners,

The Diocese of Austin invites you to The Call, a special opportunity for men ages 14–49 to take part in a day of prayer and reflection on the priesthood.

The Call
June 6, 2026

Attending an ordination is a beautiful way to give thanks to God for the priesthood and to pray for those to be ordained. It is also a powerful opportunity to discern your own vocation. This year, The Call is taking place at the Presbyteral ordination. Join Fr. Greg Gerhart before and after the ordination to learn about the priesthood by reflecting on the promises that the priest makes.

Dear Parishioners,

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be administered this Saturday, May 16, during the 5:00 PM Mass.

As family members, sponsors, and guests of the confirmandi will be in attendance, we kindly ask those planning to attend this Mass to arrive a few minutes early, if possible, so that all may be seated comfortably and welcomed reverently.

Because attendance is expected to be higher than usual, we also want to remind parishioners that Masses will also be offered:

Sunday, May 17th

- 8:00 AM (Spanish)
- 10:30 AM
- 5:00 PM

Confirmation completes Christian initiation through the outpouring of the Holy Ghost, imprinting an indelible spiritual seal that strengthens the faithful to be more perfectly conformed to Our Lord Jesus Christ and to bear courageous witness to the Faith through charity and fidelity.

Please keep our confirmandi in your prayers as they prepare to receive this great sacrament.

This Mother’s Day, pray the Holy Rosary and entrust yourself and your loved ones to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Whether prayed alone or with family, the Rosary draws souls closer to Our Lord through contemplation of the mysteries of Christ’s life, death, and Resurrection. Prayed faithfully, the Rosary is a profoundly Christocentric and contemplative devotion through which we remain close to Jesus through Mary.

Your Springfest Committee has been hard at work this week making the final preparations for tonight's LOTERIA and tomorrow's SPRINGFEST! We look forward to seeing you there!

LOTERIA TONIGHT (SATURDAY)
- Starts after the 5 pm Mass
- Salsa contestants can set up from 4 pm to 6 pm
- Sweet Booth donations can be dropped off tonight in the FLC
- The big tent is set up, so there is no parking in front of the FLC. - There's lots of parking in the new lot, and additional handicapped spots have been set up.

SPRINGFEST (SUNDAY)
- BILINGUAL MASS AT 10 AM
- NO 8 AM MASS
- NO 5 PM MASS
- Sweet Booth items can be dropped off in the FLC before or after Mass
- The auction is set, so we might not have time to include late donations

HOW YOU CAN HELP
- Bring an item for the Sweet Booth
- Park at HEB or the new parking lot
- Remember E 24th Ave will be closed between N East St. and N Penelope
- You can access the new parking lot from N Beal or N Penelope
- Come to LOTERIA tonight!

If you haven't volunteered for a time slot, we still need lots of support. Throughout the day tomorrow, help us empty trash cans, tidy up and resupply the restrooms, check in to see if the kids games need help, pop in at the drink booth to see if they need help, buy LOTS of food and auction items...and HAVE FUN!

END OF THE DAY SUNDAY - If you are still here at the end of the festival, we need LOTS of help putting away trash cans, folding and stacking the rented chairs, cleaning the restrooms, putting up tables and chairs in the FLC, sweeping and mopping in the FLC, and returning the campus to a clean and useable state for the coming week. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
