We are located in the Belton Housing Neighborhood, across from Southwest Elementary School. Hope House began over 20 years ago as a simple weekly outreach from Hope for the Hungry, where volunteers from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor gathered with children in the fields of Mitchell Circle and Belle Oaks—playing games, sharing Bible stories, and building relationships rooted in love. As the m
inistry grew, so did the vision. In 2014, God opened the door to rent a small facility in the Belton Housing Community, and Hope House was born. By Fall 2016, after two years of refining and listening to the needs of our families, all programs moved into our permanent home across from Southwest Elementary School. This space provided children with a place to belong—rain or shine—and enabled us to serve them more consistently and creatively. Today, Hope House is a place of joy, safety, peace, and belonging. It’s where kids laugh, learn, and grow in faith. It’s where families find encouragement and connection. And it’s where we live out our mission every day:
