Been away from our Facebook for a long time. I spent the evening with our youth group and asked them to help bring our page to life. These twelve young adults are the best you could ever wish for in a youth group. Thanks for being who you are and how involved you are in building God's kingdom. Bob+

And before anyone cries foul... I am not suggesting Tritheism or Modalism... We worship God the Father, follow the example of God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit dwells within us. Just food for thought on a very difficult concept.

Trinity Sunday coming up this weekend. How about this as a thought on understanding our relationship with God... We as Christians experience God in the form of the Holy Trinity… one beyond us, one amongst us, and one within us.

On Sep 01, our focus will be on our many Blessings. You will be given a form, “For God’s Eyes Only”, to record your daily Blessings. For 30 days you will record a Blessing or two as they are revealed. You can never repeat a Blessing and you must find at least one new Blessing each day. In October you will be given the opportunity to place your Blessings on the altar. More information coming in August.

Gotta love the high-priestly prayer.... Our effectiveness as disciples in the world, like that of the first disciples, depends on the intimate indwelling of “Jesus in us and we in him.” Through this miraculous and mystical union, our bond to Christ becomes the bond to one another in the community of the faithful. Out of that unity, the glory of the Father shines forth.

Adaptive Evangelism. We cannot assume that we know the minds and hearts of others. We must listen deeply, pay attention to the details of what people are saying, provide spiritual hospitality, and to identify theological and evangelical possibilities that will help others come to the one truth. Our job is to find a way to enter the world of another in order to speak our truth honestly, respectfully, and effectively.

God of Love, we implore your help in this time of great need. Strengthen the hands of all who minister to the suffering, and make us generous in their support. Have mercy upon all suffering from pain or grief. Deal graciously with those who mourn, that they may know your love. May the souls of the departed abide in peace and rejoice in the everlasting light of your presence; through your Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

As shepherds we bring the sheep to Christ. Christ alone decides who gets in an who gets turned back. We bring the encouragement, the love, and the message that eternal life can be found when one passes through these gates.

Our message is simple: "The Shepherd's pen is big enough for all. Christ has sent me out here to let you know, "Come on in!'"

If your opponent has a conscience,
then follow Ghandi and non-violence.
But if your enemy has no conscience,
like Hi**er, then follow Bonhoeffer.
