We will take a look at what the future means for us. If God is gifting us with grace, and our interpretation of biblical scripture points to grace all over the place, the how does that affect the future for us? How do we see the future?

Sunday's Sermon "God's Gift of Grace"

This week, we will look at the issue of a transactional world where people are expected to do favors for each other: I scratch your back, you scratch my back and earning your salvation by saying the right words and doing the right actions and hopefully God will welcome me into Heaven.

Presbyterian and Reformed theology says no, and that we are saved by the gift of God's grace long before we try to be perfect.

Hello friends,

On Sunday August 23, we kicked off a series of sermons based on the book "Being Presbyterian in a Dysvangelical America: A Guide to Reclaiming the Good News of God." Last Sunday, the title of our sermon was "The Authority of Scripture." A footnote from this chapter, "The purpose of the Word of God (Christ) and the words about God (the Bible) is not to beat us over the head but to reform our hearts and minds."
