Today was our annual Earth Day service. This year, our focus was on the canopy of creation and urban trees. Members of Sun Valley wrote what they were most thankful for (related to trees) on leaves and when they were done, those leaves were hung on the tree pictured in this post.

The following were what our congregation most appreciated from trees:

1. Shade
2. Beauty
3. Fall colors
4. Birds and bees
5. Fire wood
6. Produce fruit
7. Recreation (climbing)
8. Oxygen
9. Shelter for animals
