Visitation will be from 1–6 PM Monday, September 7, and funeral services will be at 10 AM Tuesday, September 8, all at Roberts Family Funeral Home in Beloit.

Shirley was a true country girl with a courageous spirit. She began her long career in healthcare at just 16 years old. In her spare time, she enjoyed baking, sewing, quilting, and knitting. She generously shared her talents by making baby sets for local families and donating small quilts to children’s hospitals. Her beautiful handiwork often earned ribbons at area fairs.

Gerald Brummer will be remembered as a hardworking man with a strong work ethic and an ability to tackle nearly any task—a true jack of all trades. He taught his children the importance of being honest, working hard, and always remembering to say thank you. These simple but meaningful lessons will remain an enduring part of his legacy.

Please join us in remembering Gerald through this special video tribute celebrating his life and the memories he leaves behind.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Thursday at Roberts Family Funeral Home, with family present from 4:00–6:00 PM. A rosary service will follow at 6:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, September 4, at St. John’s Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the service begins at the funeral home.
