YAHWEH IS GOOD! - Part 2

“If your burden is heavy and hard to bear, endure it quietly (Let Him sit alone in silence.)
Bow low in humble submission (put one's mouth in the dust), for there may still be hope.
Offer a cheek to the one who would strike you, and learn to endure insults (Let him, be filled with disgrace).

For the Lord will not reject you forever.
If He causes grief, He will show compassion from the cascading overflow of His endless love.
The Lord takes no delight in afflicting anyone with suffering.” Lamentations 3:28-33 TPT

“Overcome every form of evil (suffer hardships) as a victorious soldier of Jesus the Anointed One.”

Jesus, Isaiah 50:6 prophesied of You:
“I offered my back to those who flogged me and my cheek to those who tore out my beard. I never hid my face from demeaning insults or from those who spit on me.”

Job 16:10 also prophesied of Your pain:
“[The forces of evil] have gaped at me with their mouths; they have struck me upon the cheek insolently; they massed themselves together and conspired unanimously against me.

LORD, you repeat in Matthew 5:39: “However, I say to you, don’t repay an evil act with another evil act. But whoever insults you by slapping you on the right cheek, turn the other to him as well.”

Yahweh, in our western culture that just sounds crazy to our minds! But; You said it, so You mean it! If we refuse to repay evil for evil, but endure hardships in silence and reflect, handing over our grief and pain as a good soldier, YOU PROMISE; we will gain the prize of our inheritance HIDDEN IN CHRIST! You carry our yoke WITH US!

YAHWEH IS GOOD! -Part 1

“YAHWEH is always good to all who trust in Him, to the soul who searches for Him.
It is always good to hope, quietly waiting for YAHWEH’s deliverance.
It is always good to learn patience and humility (bear the yoke) from a young age.
‭‭Lamentations‬ ‭3‬:‭25‬-‭27‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“Drink deeply (taste and see) of the pleasures of this God. Experience for yourself the joyous mercies He gives to all who turn to hide themselves in Him.” Psalms‬ ‭34‬:‭8‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“Lord, you are so good to me, so kind in every way and ready to forgive, for your grace-fountain keeps overflowing, drenching all your devoted lovers who pray to you.” Psalms‬ ‭86‬:‭5‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Yahweh, how much easier is it to learn to “bear our yoke (burdens),” allowing You to share them with us until we can give our burdens over to You in childhood, BEFORE life experiences have taught us a dad is a “distant at best or non-existent” father like many fathers. Or are physically, mentally, or emotionally abusive if mistakes are made, when we don’t perform according to their pattern.

These portions of Your Love Letter to Your sons and daughters invite us to “TASTE & SEE” that YOU ARE AN ABSOLUTELY GOOD, GOOD FATHER! TO HOPE IS ALWAYS GOOD! That YOU ARE KIND & LONG-SUFFERING to those who walk with You, praying to You, patiently and humbly from a young age.

There is a GRACE FOUNTAIN overflowing with JOYOUS MERCIES awaiting all Your DEVOTED LOVERS! HOW GOOD YOU ARE LORD! FATHERS, MUST LEAD THEIR CHILDREN, BY LOVE & BY EXAMPLE, TO HIM!

Lord, you will keep us safe, out of the reach of the wicked. Even though they strut and prowl, tolerating and celebrating what is worthless and vile, you will still lift up those who are yours!”

Yahweh, we are the earthen vessels inside which You have placed Your flawless words. Your words test us, they try us, and refine us as gold is refined in the fire seven times over until we are purified and assimilated into Holy Sprit! Your fire of testing purifies us as Your vessels to carry the Word within our heart! What a sacred honor and chance to glorify the KING of kings and LORD of lords!

“We are like common clay jars that carry this glorious treasure within, so that this immeasurable power will be seen as God’s, not ours.”
‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭4‬:‭7‬ ‭TPT‬‬

The closer someone genuinely gets to God, the more unusual their life begins to look to the world around them. They’ll walk away from things everyone else calls normal. They’ll choose obedience when compromise would be easier. They become less impressed by status, less controlled by approval, and less willing to trade conviction for acceptance. Not because they’re trying to be strange, but because the more clearly you see God, the less attractive the world’s priorities become:

“Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in His eyes.” Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Yahweh, real closeness with You should change what we value. It changes what we tolerate. It changes what we pursue when nobody’s watching.
This kind of transformation will make people misunderstand us. BUT THAT’S OK! Following Jesus isn’t going to make us blend perfectly into a world moving in the opposite direction.
The goal isn’t to look unusual - it's to know You so deeply that our life starts looking like CHRIST’S.
