Isn’t Sacrifice Enough? Part 3

The Prophet Samuel went to confront King Saul after he spared wicked King Agag and blamed the people for keeping some of the spoils, after God had told him to utterly destroy all and take nothing.

Samuel said “Has the Lord as great a delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices As in obedience to the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed [is better] than the fat of rams.
“For rebellion is as [serious as] the sin of witchcraft, divination (fortune-telling), And disobedience is as [serious as] false religion and idolatry.
Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you as king.”
‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭15‬:‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“Then Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned; for I have transgressed the command of the Lord and your words, because I feared the people and obeyed their voice. Now, please, pardon my sin and return with me, so that I may worship the Lord.”
But Samuel said to Saul, “I will not return with you; for you have rejected the word of the Lord, and the Lord has rejected you from being king over Israel.”

Father, our hearts are only to fear You! No one has done for us what You have, through Christ’s sacrifice, to right our hearts before You and bring your Spirit to life in us, giving us the power and authority to OVERCOME ALL SIN. JESUS BLOOD WAS AND STILL IS MORE THAN ENOUGH TO CANCEL SIN AND DEATH’S GRIP ON US. Even the remembrance of it is taken completely away from Your sight and mind because of HIS BLOOD! I think our obedience is a pretty small price for us to pay considering ALL YOU’VE DONE TO RESTORE US TO YOU!

Father, it was stated yesterday that "Every person has a "Jacob-life" living in us that can't be trusted." Only the life of Christ living in us, pleases You!

It's a heart issue and only one entity can sit on the throne of our hearts at a time; YOU or SELF!

The fact is:
“Evil originates from inside a person. Coming out of a human heart there are; evil schemes, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, treachery, debauchery, jealousy, slander, arrogance, and recklessness.” Mark‬ ‭7‬:‭21‬-‭22‬ ‭TPT‬‬

For the few, NARROW PATH TAKERS (the PATH that leads to LIFE):

“It seems as though everyone else (the majority WIDE PATH [the path leading to death] TAKERS) are busy seeking what is best for themselves instead of the things that are most important to our Lord Jesus Christ.” Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭21‬ ‭TPT‬‬

But You Yahweh said:
“Then suddenly the voice of the Father shouted from the sky, saying, “This is my Son—the Beloved! My greatest delight is in Him.” Matthew‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭TPT‬‬

So, our attitude must be, “My true life is the Anointed One, and dying means gaining more of Him.” Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭21‬ ‭TPT‬‬

LORD YAHWEH, I echo Paul's cry in Philippians 3:9:

“My passion is to be consumed with Him (Jesus) and not cling to my own “righteousness” based in keeping the written Law. My only “righteousness” will be His, based on the faithfulness of Jesus Christ—the very righteousness that comes from You God.”

Isn’t Sacrifice Enough? Part 1

“You can rationalize it all you want and justify the path of error you have chosen, but you’ll find out in the end that you took the road to destruction.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭14‬:‭12‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“We may think we’re right all the time, but God thoroughly examines our motives. It pleases God more when we demonstrate godliness and justice than when we merely offer him a sacrifice.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭21‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“There is nothing more “deceitful” than the heart of man; who can understand it? Man’s heart is sick, in need of healing.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭9‬ ‭TPT‬‬

FN - “deceitful”: This is the word áqab, which comes from the verbal root that means “to take by the heel” or “to supplant” and from which we derive the name Jacob.
Every person has a “Jacob life” living in them, a life that cannot be trusted, for it plots ways to get what it wants (Phil.2;21). Only the life of Christ within us is the life that pleases God (see Matt. 3:17; Phil. 1:21; 3:9).

Yahweh, the heart of man is deep beyond all things. There is no doubt that the heart of a person is bent toward evil as Jesus Himself taught.

“All these corrupt things emerge from within (the heart) and constantly pollute a person.” Mark 7:23 TPT

“No, this is the new covenant I will make with the people of Israel when the time has come,” declares Yahweh. “I will embed my law into the core of their being and write it on their hearts and minds. Then I will truly be their God, and they will truly be my people.
None of them will have to teach their friends or family, saying, ‘Come and know Yahweh intimately!’ No, from the least to the greatest, they will all know me intimately,” Yahweh declares, “for I will remove their guilt and wipe their sin from my memory.” Jeremiah‬ ‭31‬:‭33‬-‭34‬ ‭TPT‬‬

“And the result of this will be that everyone will know me as Lord! There will be no need at all to teach their fellow-citizens or brothers by saying, ‘You should know Yahweh,’ since everyone will know me inwardly, from the most unlikely to the most distinguished. For I will demonstrate my mercy to them and will forgive their evil deeds, and never remember again their sins.” Hebrews‬ ‭8‬:‭11‬-‭12‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Jesus speaking: “Multiple burnt offerings and sin-offerings cannot satisfy your justice. So I said to you, ‘God— I will be the One to go and do your will, to fulfill all that is written of me in your Word!’ ”
Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭6‬-‭7‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Yahweh, since You have forgiven believers of every sin, to know You, is to forgive others and to not remember their sins. In this way, we may live out our redemption in Christ.
The veil to the Holy of Holies was torn!
Your flesh Jesus, has been torn so that who-so-ever will, may follow You, in faith and obedience to GO & DO WHATEVER WE SEE THE FATHER DO AND SAY WHATEVER WE HEAR THE FATHER SAY!
You are my ONE THING!
