Meet Alison Smart.
This week, Alison celebrates 10 years on staff at Exodus, where she serves as our Financial and Office Coordinator. Alison has called Exodus home since July 2010 and has been a member since 2011. She serves on the Baptism Team, at the Info Desk, and during Exodus Kids Midweek.
Alison grew up in Thousand Oaks, California, and attended college in California before completing a Human Services Technology degree program in counseling at Gaston Community College. A fun fact about Alison is that she loves crafting, especially alongside friends.
One of the things we love about Alison is the warmth and care she brings to serving others. Whether she is praying with someone before their baptism, answering questions at the Info Desk, or working with children during Midweek, Alison looks for ways to make people feel welcomed, cared for, and connected.
When you see Alison, introduce yourself, thank her for serving, and congratulate her on 10 years on staff. Then ask her about her favorite crafts to make. We'd love for our church to be a place where strangers become family.
