Mission trips aren’t just about what we do, they’re about who God is shaping us to become.

The Dwelling changed the way we see God, our neighbors, and ourselves.

We found Christ in our neighbors, discovered joy in unexpected places, and left with hearts that will never be quite the same.

✨ Dwelling Day 4! ✨

Today was our last full day at The Dwelling, and what a gift this week has been. đź’™

We’ve spent the week serving our neighbors, building relationships, sharing meals, laughing together, and discovering that God is present in every act of love and every person we meet. As our time here begins to come to a close, we’re leaving with grateful hearts, new friendships, and a deeper understanding of what it means to love our neighbors as Christ loves us.

Tomorrow (well today, but we were too tired to post yesterday) we’ll head home, but our prayer is that this experience doesn’t stay here. We hope to carry what we’ve learned back into our own community, continuing to look for ways to serve, love, and make room for others every day.

Thank you for your prayers this week, they have meant so much to our group! 🏡❤️

What an amazing day at the Dwelling! Today we split off into groups and headed out to begin our service projects, putting our faith into action through serving our neighbors and our community.

From working together to lend a helping hand to learning more about the people and stories around us, today was filled with meaningful moments, teamwork, and opportunities to make a difference. We are so grateful for the chance to serve, grow, and experience this journey together. đź’™

✨ Dwelling Day 2! ✨

What an incredible day! Today was our first day of diving into our service projects, and it was such a blessing to serve alongside one another. We had so much fun learning, working, and making a difference in our community while continuing to walk alongside our neighbors with love, compassion, and kindness.

We are so grateful for all that God is teaching us through this experience, and we can’t wait to see what He has in store for us tomorrow.

What a great first day at The Dwelling! đź’™

Today we spent time walking around Winston-Salem, learning more about our community, and listening to the stories and experiences of our neighbors who are unhoused. We were reminded that behind every person is a story, a journey, and a life that deserves dignity, compassion, and love.

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to learn, serve, and better understand the challenges our neighbors face every day. Day one was filled with meaningful conversations, new perspectives, and moments that will stick with us throughout this week.

We can’t wait to see what the rest of our time at The Dwelling brings! 💙✨
