Park Street United Methodist Church Growing Discipleship Through Relationships The dream became a reality when the Reverend C.C.

Park Street United Methodist Church began as a dream of those who envisioned a Methodist Church for the growing population of East Belmont. Tetherow established a Sunday school in the East Belmont School in 1921. A tent revival soon followed and within two weeks a stronger foundation for the church was laid.

It is hard to believe it, but pumpkins are coming! They are arriving Saturday, September 26th, at 9 AM. Please plan on joining us to unload -- there will be childcare available!

Also, please bring any wheelbarrows, rakes, and wagons you may have, as those are always a great help with unloading.

Tomorrow is week 2 of our sermon series titled, I’ve Been Meaning to Ask…. The question tomorrow is …where does it hurt? We will be looking at the story of Hannah from 1 Samuel 1:2-18.

From Park Street, Belmont to Park Street, Boston… so much history here. I am reminded of the importance of remembering our history. It should inform our vision for the future, as people, as Christians, and as the church.

Join us Sunday at Park Street UMC as we ask the question "where does it hurt?" we can all look at places in our own history that might have caused us pain or fear. Read 1 Samuel 1:2-18 in preparation for worship at 9 or 11am, Sunday! Sunday School is at 10am.
