Family Faith Formation begins Wednesday, September 2, and meets the first Wednesday of each month for all students in grades 1–5, as well as older students preparing for Confirmation. A required parent meeting for Confirmation families will be held at the rectory on September 2. For parents of Aquinas students: your child has already been taught the same Confirmation curriculum that will be covered during Family Faith Formation this year, so parents may decide whether their child would benefit from attending as a refresher. They are also welcome, along with any other Confirmation candidates, to attend Middle School Youth Group, which supplements Confirmation by focusing on praying with and in the Holy Spirit.

We had a great turnout for St. Peter's Corpus Christi procession Sunday, June 7. We walked around the Bellwood square with Jesus and prayed for the town, including our final stop at the Veteran's Memorial where extra prayers were said for our active and fallen soldiers. After the Procession, we enjoyed food and fellowship with a potluck. Thanks to all who helped make this Sunday a special day as we honor and celebrate Jesus' real presence in the Blessed Sacrament.

A few photos from our Memorial Day Mass celebrated at St. Mary & St. Peter Cemetery. We had a wonderful turnout as we prayed for all the fallen brave. Eternal rest, grant unto them, O Lord, and let your perpetual light shine upon them.

Congratulations to Boris & Tracy Knepper (left) and their daughter Olivia, as well as Max & Ellie Knepper (right) and their son Klaus who were just baptized this weekend at St. Peter's. The little cousins got to celebrate coming into the Church during the same ceremony with their parents serving as respective godparents. A pretty neat occasion!

Spring Fling 2026 will be Sunday, June 7, after the 10 a.m. Mass at St. Peter. We will begin with a Corpus Christi Eucharistic Procession, taking Jesus to the streets as a witness of evangelization to the community. We will then gather back at St. Peter Hall for a parish potluck, where we will provide chicken and ask each family to bring a side, salad, and/or dessert, along with any specialty beverages beyond water, tea, and lemonade. We will close with time for socializing, kids' games, and co****le. A free-will donation is suggested but not required. Please invite others — especially those less familiar with St. Peter — for food, fellowship, and connection.

Congratulations to our First Communicants, who received Jesus in the Blessed Sacraments for the very first time this past Sunday, April 12, on the feast of Divine Mercy.

St. Peter Church joyfully welcomed Heidi Klevemann into full communion with the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil. Heidi professed the faith, received Confirmation, and made her first Holy Communion. Congratulations, Heidi, and be assured of our prayers!
