Today in junior church Mrs. Sarah and Mrs. Brittney taught on Numbers 22. Where it tells the story of how the country of Moab tried to have rhe Israelites cursed by the seer Balaam but what God has blessed can't be cursed .God used a donkey to alter the course of Balaam and led him to eventually be obedient to God's plan.
We learned that when God had a plan He can use any means necessary to bring it about, even a talking donkey. Also we learned the importance of remaining obedient to God and being wise in our actions and how that keeps us within God's will and plan.

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
We made donkey puppets for our craft and had a snack.

In children's church Sis. Vickie taught about Paul and Silas and how they praised God while being in prison. There was one precious soul saved. We went outside and had snack.

This month's theme in children's church is "Freedom in Christ".

Sis Stephanie and Sis Bonita taught on John 8:36.

"If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."

They discussed what it means to be free and how bo***ge restricts what we are able to accomplish. Students gathered in groups to see who can reassemble index cards with the Bible verse on them in the correct order.
They were then a prisoner and bound up. Unable to freely move around or easily walk, they became "free in Christ" and broke what had them trapped.

Their last activity was to try to get a tier of cups, stacked together. They were given one chance. Sis Stephanie then explained that Christ will give us another chance after we fail. On their next attempt, a friend got to help them accomplish their mission. This shows how we can lean on God to help us when we fail and trust He will always be there to support us! Thank you Sis Steph and Sis Bonita for teaching our youth.

On Sunday We learned about worship and how it is easy and fun to worship together but worshipping alone is not easy. We sang. It was Gracelynn's first children's church. Sister Vicky made us frostys for a snack. Thank you Sister Vicky and Sister Steph for teaching our youth.

Sunday in Children’s Church the kids learned “We can worship God anywhere”. They played Bible bingo, did a project and had snack. Thank you Mrs. Vickie and Ms. Tammy for teaching them.

Today we learned about Saul and how his life changed completely. We watched a video to help aid in the lesson today. They were given a paper to help "transform" a shape into something different. Just as Saul was transformed into Paul. Thank you Mrs.Steph and Mrs.Bonita for the lesson.

Today in Children’s Church we learned about we can worship God anywhere we are. We read about the Samaritan woman at the well in John 4:4-28. The kids told us all about what they enjoy the most in life and where they would choose to go if they could pick anywhere. Then we explained that while they are doing what they love the most they can still worship, as well as if they were able to travel anywhere they can still worship. But God wants sincere worship. We then listened to our songs we will be learning for church camp and had snack. Thank you Mrs. Sarah and Mrs. Brittney for teaching our youth/

Yesterday was a busy day for Honey Creek church. We didn’t get any pictures of the youth but they learned about serving others is also serving Jesus. We also celebrated Bro. Tom’s 90th birthday. He is such a blessing to our church.

Yesterday in Children’s Church the kids learned about praise. We learned that Jesus wants us to praise him and he wants us to encourage others. We sang Me and God. We went outside and encouraged our team leaders to see who could get back to the finish line first. Thank you Sis Vicky N and Sis Steph M we appreciate you.
