Today we learned about Saul and how his life changed completely. We watched a video to help aid in the lesson today. They were given a paper to help "transform" a shape into something different. Just as Saul was transformed into Paul. Thank you Mrs.Steph and Mrs.Bonita for the lesson.

Today in Children’s Church we learned about we can worship God anywhere we are. We read about the Samaritan woman at the well in John 4:4-28. The kids told us all about what they enjoy the most in life and where they would choose to go if they could pick anywhere. Then we explained that while they are doing what they love the most they can still worship, as well as if they were able to travel anywhere they can still worship. But God wants sincere worship. We then listened to our songs we will be learning for church camp and had snack. Thank you Mrs. Sarah and Mrs. Brittney for teaching our youth/

Yesterday in Children’s Church the kids learned about praise. We learned that Jesus wants us to praise him and he wants us to encourage others. We sang Me and God. We went outside and encouraged our team leaders to see who could get back to the finish line first. Thank you Sis Vicky N and Sis Steph M we appreciate you.

Today in Children’s church we learned about how trash (our sin) piles up and will continue to pile up to keep us farther and farther away from Jesus. The only way to to clean it up is meet Jesus. We played a game to show how far sin can keep us from Jesus and if we do what is right we will get closer to Him. Also that lead us to talking about Jesus being crucified for our sins. Mrs. Sarah asked the kids if they have ever been blamed/punished for something that they didn’t do. They all answered and she explained that is why Jesus died on the cross for us. It was our sins that he died for because he is the only sinless person that has ever walked the earth and did not deserve the punishment but He did it for us anyways. Thank you Mrs. Sarah and Mrs. Brittney for the lesson today. It was also followed by a snack and craft.

On Sunday our Children’s church kiddos learned about The man who was lowered into the building for Jesus to heal. We went over the story, they did a relay race putting band-aids on stuffed animals and they had a picture to color showing the story. Thank you Mrs. Vickie and Ms. Tammy for teaching them.

Yesterday after church we had Love Thy Neighbor dinner where our youth helped prepare and then served our guest. This was a fund raiser to help raise money for our youth church camp this summer. Thank you everyone for your support and a special thank you to those that helped the kids get prepared for this dinner.

Please join us tomorrow for our dinner. All donations go towards church camp for our youth. We love to see you there.
