St. John has volunteering opportunities! If you feel like calling to join us at our annual VBS that will be taking place on July 24th through the 28th from 5:30 PM till 7:30 PM please fill out the form below:

(Volunteers need to have at least been through the 6th grade and understand that they are there to help. All volunteers over the age of 18 will need to come to the office a week prior to VBS for a background check.)

Hi to all! Hope everyone is having a fabulous summer so far since Camp Hope! St. John wants to invite the campers to our annual VBS that we will host July 24th through the 28th from 5:30 PM till 7:30 PM. A lot of Camp Hope staff and volunteers will be back for this so your kiddo will know a few friendly faces already!! At 5:30 PM we will have supper and from 6 PM to 7:30 PM we will have crafts, music, games and story time. This year our theme is Rocky railway!! Lots of Choo-Choo stuff 🎉♥️ each student will need their own form filled out:

Thank you to everyone who came out to the CPR/First Aid Class and thank you to Lori Gaines for putting it together!! Camp Hope promotes safe & responsive habits. Staff is required to have a certificate and we encourage volunteers to have one as well so that you know your little ones are in good hands! 🙌🏼♥️🥰

UPDATE ON LOCATION:

Hey all you preteens and teenagers: Camp Hope has a CPR & First Aid class set up at St. John Lutheran 520 N. Holland in Bellville at 7pm Monday June 20th that we’d like to invite you to!! The cost is $30 per person; please bring cash or check (make check payable to Austin County EMS). This is an amazing opportunity for kiddos starting to stay home alone and or babysitting others.

Omega is our last activity before we send the kids home, and it’s ALWAYS one of the best parts of each day! Our campers have the opportunity to perform skits, recite memory verses, and share prayers with the rest of the staff and campers. We love having this time at the end of the day to celebrate and give praise to Jesus!✝️🌞
