The distinctive teachings of the Reformed community emphasize that our God reigns over creation yet he calls us into a covenant with Him to show the world what the kingdom of God looks like by the way we live. That means all of our life is lived under his leadership: our worship, work, relationships, and recreation. In addition, we emphasize that God continues his process of reforming the world. We recognize that God the Holy Spirit continues to change us and enables us to be change agents by influencing our community and world. Family and Discipleship Pastoral Candidate, Eriko Dandan, and family will be joining us this Sunday, May 3, and we encourage you to plan to attend. Following the service, we will be hosting a potluck lunch and meet-and-greet in the Friendship Center, providing a meaningful opportunity for you to spend time with them and to get to know them more personally. We ask people with last names A-G to bring a large salad (with serving utensil), people with last names H-S to bring a sandwich platter to share and last names T-Z to bring a dessert (with serving utensil). Plan to join us for Bethany Vision Night on Wednesday, May 6, at 6:00 p.m. in the Friendship Center. Don't miss this fun and enjoyable evening where we will enjoy a catered dinner, activities for the kids and look forward to our next year of ministry. Our many hardworking volunteers will also be recognized, and we will approve the 2026-2027 budget and affirm new members of the church council.
