Why are we studying Romans?

Because we need to understand the gospel we believe: why we need salvation, what God has done for us in Jesus Christ, and how his grace changes the way we live.

Our new series, “The Gospel of God,” takes us through Romans to grow in faith, deepen our understanding of Scripture, and learn to live together as people who belong to Christ.

Psalm 133 gives us a picture of something we desperately need, but cannot manufacture: the blessing of God dwelling among his gathered people.

Christ often cares for us through the people he has placed in his church. Receiving their care takes humility – the willingness to believe that Christ may use another Christian to show us what we cannot see on our own.
