Today the Salesian Family remembers Blessed Józef Kowalski, SDB.

Fr. Józef Kowalski was imprisoned in Auschwitz during World War II. After refusing to trample on his rosary, he was subjected to beatings and humiliation before suffering a martyr’s death in Auschwitz.

Let us pray for the Salesian Family and for all those discerning God’s call, that through the intercession of Blessed Józef Kowalski they may respond with courage and remain faithful to God and His people.

Happy Mother’s Day! 🌸💐🌷🌻🌼

Mama Margaret, a mother whose faith and love helped shape the heart of St. John Bosco.

The vocation of motherhood is one of strength, deep trust, sacrifice, patience, and love poured out day after day. Mama Margaret reminds us that holiness is often formed in the home, in the ordinary moments, and in the witness of a mother who teaches her children how to recognize God’s presence in life.

Today we pray in gratitude for all mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, and maternal figures. May God continue to bless and strengthen them in their vocation. 💐
