Ohio CAN 4 counties represented and spoke to many different community agencies. We shared our Mission and Purpose and received various resources to help Peers in Recovery. Bridge Day was a great event.

It’s fair to say that OhioCAN has been such a powerful force in my life. They have taught me so much about loving people RIGHT where they are! I mean isn’t that what a spiritual life is all about??? Love your neighbor. Right?

This year I’m asking you to support our biggest fund raiser. We have helped people who grieve loss, individuals and families navigate through substance use disorder, and help those on the path of recovery.

I can’t stress this enough…we need your help to support our cause. None of us receive any monetary compensation. We volunteer because our hearts and faith demand rigorous service to our fellow. Please join us this year and if you cannot be present, I hope you will consider a donation to help us help others.

What are some things we have helped with? Well, I can say…if it weren’t for this organization and the wide spread efforts to donate for Bradley’s return home, we would have had financial stress on top of laying him to rest. But more importantly they gave emotional support when all I could see was darkness.

OhioCAN helps people raising grandchildren, individuals with sober living costs, work shoes, clothing, holidays, transportation costs, …and the list goes on. We educate the public on the benefits of harm reduction. If 1 person would of had Narcan at the sober living my son was…he may still be here.

This is the largest health care crisis our world had ever experienced. Please help us be the change. Let’s make this year the best, most generous, most love filled event ever! Thank you.
