What a blessed Family focused service Sunday. The children came in waving palm branches singing Hosanna. Then Emily Worlledge told the story of the crimson worm...wow! The kids recited their memory verses too.
Two couples had their children dedicated and then we had people share their God stories which were incredible.
We ended the service announcing that on March 10th we paid off the church mortgage. The congregation erupted in shouts of joy thanking God for His provision.
Of course it all culminated with a fantastic meal and incredible fellowship!

This Holy Week is a gift of remembrance and please come to our Easter service at 10:30 am, 2231 Street, Bellevue.
Something good will happen to you.....

It has been a month since you entered your eternal upgrade. You were definitely an incredible Kingdom influencer
and there is huge hole left in many, many people's hearts, prayer groups, church leadership not only at NBWC but so many others throughout our community. You served with love as the foundation of all you did.

You were honest, spoke truth, encouraged us all to go deeper in Jesus, worship with total abandon, pray fervently and soak in God's presence. You stood faithful, not in perfection, aware of your own humanity and amazed at how God loved you, humbly admitting your weaknesses.
Your integrity was flawless and your counsel God inspired and led.

Oh how we miss you and feel the great vacuum of your absence here.

We must contend...

There is a sobering truth that the church must remember again. The Word of God says in Ephesians that Christ is coming back for a glorious church, not having spot, wrinkle, or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. The Lord is not returning for a bride that is comfortable in compromise, He is coming for a bride that has been washed, purified, and made ready. Right now, much of the bride's gown is stained, not because Christ failed her, but because she wandered. Some have traded devotion for distraction, traded holiness for acceptance, and some have flirted with the very things Christ died to deliver us from. Like a bride who left the wedding chamber and ran into the streets, the garment that was once white has been dragged through the dust of this world. The stain of pride, lust, bitterness, greed, and rebellion has settled on the fabric, and yet many still stand saying, 'I am ready,' but they are deceived. The Spirit is calling the church back. The Lord is sending out a clarion call. In Revelation, the Lord speaks to the church and says, 'You have left your first love, not lost it, but left it.' That means it can be returned to. Jesus is not looking for a perfect bride in her own strength; He is looking for a repentant bride, a bride who will fall to her knees and say, 'Lord, wash me again, cleanse my heart, take every idol from me, and restore my first love.' The beautiful mercy of Christ is this: the same blood that saved us is the blood that cleanses us again when we repent. The gown may be dirty today, but it can be washed white again. This is the very mercy of God our Father. The hour we are living in is late. The signs of the times are everywhere - the shaking of nations, the confusion of the world, the coldness of many hearts. These are the reminders that the return of the king is drawing near, and soon the cry will go forth, just as it did in Matthew, 'Behold, the bridegroom is coming!' In that moment, there will be no time to run and prepare. The oil must already be in the lamp; the garment must already be ready. So, the call today is simple, but it is very urgent: come back to your first love, lay down every hidden sin, and turn away from every lover that is not Christ. Wash the gown, because the bridegroom is coming, and when He opens the door, those who are ready will step into the marriage supper of the lamb with garments shining pure white and radiant, prepared for the king who gave everything to redeem His bride. And the most beautiful part of this message is: it is not too late to be made clean.

The last message Joe Davis gave at our all church meeting just a few days before going into the hospital was that we must be steadfast in prayer fully surrendered and obedient to God's leading and His Word. Joe lived his life modeling his words!

Pastor Bryce said it so well.....
A failure in the Christian life isn’t just rejection of Jesus — it’s partial surrender.

We don’t mind giving Him Sunday.
We don’t mind giving Him our words.
We don’t mind giving Him what’s convenient.

But Jesus didn’t ask for a portion. He asked for everything.

In Luke 9:23, Jesus says, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” That’s not seasonal surrender. That’s daily surrender.

God isn’t looking for fans.
He’s looking for followers.

He doesn’t want just your church attendance — He wants your heart.
He doesn’t want just your worship songs — He wants your obedience.
He doesn’t want just your spare time — He wants your life.

The truth is this:
Half-hearted Christianity produces powerless Christianity.

When we give Jesus our leftovers, we live spiritually weak. But when we give Him our all — our plans, our reputation, our comfort, our finances, our dreams — that’s when resurrection power flows through us.

Think about it.
Jesus didn’t give you part of Himself. He gave you everything. The cross wasn’t partial love. It was full surrender.

So why would we respond with anything less?

Today, ask yourself:
• Is there an area I’ve held back?
• Is there a habit I haven’t surrendered?
• Is there a dream I haven’t laid at His feet?

Revival doesn’t start with better programs.
It starts with complete surrender.

We should never be about casual Christianity. We are called to be a people fully abandoned to Jesus — nourishing our souls in His presence, imparting truth boldly, and expanding His Kingdom without compromise.

Let today be the day you stop negotiating with God and start surrendering to Him.

Give Him your all.
And watch what He does with it !
