Federated Pentecostal Church International

Federated Pentecostal Church International Federated Pentecostal Church International is an organization founded by the Late Bishop E. F. Morris

On June 7th 1934, many independent churches and organized movements, being represented by their Bishops and Pastors of the Pentecostal faith, assembled in a general council to contrive a plan and system by which the Pentecostal Churches may become closer together; manifest a recognized relationship before the world and have fellowship one with another regardless of name, movement or church. So lon

g as fundamental principles of their doctrines were the same, minor differences would not sever their fellowship. So it pleased God to suffer them (us) to organize the International Federation of Pentecostal Churches. Only excepting the churches and movements with their Bishops, Elders and Evangelist that believe in and teach the Trinity, Godhead, Salvation, Sanctification, Baptism by Immersion(In the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost) and Baptism of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2: 4) Adverse to Spiritualism, etc. Membership in the Federation is obtained by virtue of a certificate of the International Federation and fidelity to the Federation.

Dr. Doris J. Sims 2014 book, "Roots out of Dry Ground," is a wonderful work that should be visited by young women and men in ministry, especially those with an evangelistic thrust. The subject of the book is that powerful woman of God, Mother Leatha Herndon. She was chosen by Church Of God In Christ second General Supervisor Mother Lillian Brooks Coffey to represent the women in the National Evangelist Department who were working with Bishop Lucius C. Page. She served as National Evangelist Chairlady for 50 years.

She was no novice to the work. She and her sister Leatha were trailblazing evangelists who worked out over 75 churches with untold thousands saved under their anointed ministry. They preached and prayed on porches, in tents and wherever they saw a space to herald the Good News of Jesus Christ with many of the souls they won later serving as pastors, bishops, missionaries and solid holiness soldiers.

Promoted to the church triumphant at age 104, she left a legacy of boldness, dedication and service for the Kingdom's sake.
