Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free.

As we gather with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we pause to reflect with gratitude, pray for the families of the fallen, and thank God for the courage of those who served, are serving and veterans like our Pastor Kevin L. Johnson and many others in our congregation.
We thank you for your service.

💐 A Mother’s Day Message from Lady Nina & Pastor Kevin Johnson

Today, we pause to honor and celebrate the incredible women who have helped shape our lives through love, sacrifice, wisdom, prayer, and unwavering strength.

To every mother, grandmother, aunt, Godmother, sister, bonus mom, spiritual mother, mentor, caregiver, and nurturing woman of Christ Cathedral Church and in our lives — we celebrate you today!
Your impact reaches farther than you may ever realize.

Thank you for every prayer whispered over your family, every encouraging word, every sacrifice made in love, every lesson taught, every hug given, and every time you kept showing up even when life was difficult. Your love has helped build homes, families, faith, and futures.

As Pastor and First Lady, we want you to know how deeply loved and appreciated you are. We pray that today your heart is refreshed, your spirit is strengthened, and that you are reminded that God sees every seed you have planted in love. 🌸

We also recognize that Mother’s Day can carry many emotions. For some, today is joyful. For others, it may bring grief, longing, loss, disappointment, or silent pain. To those missing a mother, grieving a child, desiring to become a mother, navigating broken relationships, or carrying burdens unseen — please know that you are not forgotten.
